As a family we absolutely love Muddy Boots. The staff are so enthusiastic and caring with the children. Our two boys have thrived whilst going to their nursery sessions. They have formed such special bonds with their key workers, who have demonstrated such an incredible level of care. Both boys love the regular access to outside space and the encouragement to often get as messy as possible! Communication is great and they use the Famly App, which is brill for accessing all info for your child whilst there.

This is a little bit of a love letter to Muddy Boots!We really enjoy our girls being there for multiple reasons, but mainly it’s the people… They are just brilliant!Everyone who has looked after both of ours have been fantastic, I can’t praise them enough. Both our girls are so happy when you pick them up at the end of the day because they have had such a good time. Our eldest gushes about all the fun she has had playing with her friends, but more so about the adults, she absolutely adores them!It’s not just that. When you go there it’s such a lovely feeling, you know that they really care, not just about the children but about each other, which is why they seem to have such a low turnover of staff.Everyone there are just wonderful, even the people you don’t see. The food is yummy, the girls always eat it all up, they did a brilliant job during Covid lockdowns, the cleaners clearly work doubly hard to make sure everything is spick and span. Everything is wonderful.If you are considering Muddy Boots, don’t hesitate!

Our little boy has been attending Muddy Boots full time from 7 months (now 2.5yrs) so has progressed through the majority of the rooms. From day one the staff have been amazing with him and us. It was a nerve racking and emotional time placing our only child in nursery at such a young age but they were able to put our worries at ease and settled him and us into nursery life without much of a fuss. They have been flexible to deal with any little quirks or challenges that we as a family have faced and even managed to get our little boy sleeping independently and eating (which is no mean feat). Since those early days our son has developed into an amazing caring, confident child and I place a lot of this down to the wonderful loving, family environment of the nursery. They have always been there to give extra cuddles when needed as well as answer any questions we have had as first time parents. The nursery has been really important in our son’s life as we have no close family or friends living nearby so it has given us all the chance to form an extended family. It is wonderful to see him run into nursery every morning and to hear about all his exciting adventures when we collect him and watch him learn and grow.

My little one has been coming to muddy boots since just before she was 1. It's a very difficult decision to choose a place to leave your child, confident that they will be safe and well looked after. I'm so glad that I chose muddy boots, not a difficult decision after our first visit and taster session. Thank you for making the transition a little easier for me. They have thoroughly enjoyed their time at muddy boots, thank you for starting their school journey very positively!! It is no surprise that baby number 2 will joining you at the end of the year.

Great nursery! Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere & the kids love it! We've been so well looked after by Muddy Boots and I'm so very grateful that our kids have been in such good hands.

I highly recommend Muddy Boots and have just signed my second daughter up here, whilst my first is about to move up to her third age group. I love the ethos, the outdoor fun that the kids have, when our child comes home filthy and tired we know she's had a great day. A key point for me is how accommodating Muddy Boots staff are to parents' requests and supporting us with the child's routine or preferences, whether it be diet, toilet training or napping, this is something that they excel at, which really puts parents at ease. Not all nurseries are so respectful of parents' preferences and childrens' individuality like this so we really appreciate it.

I’ve had a completely positive experience with Muddy Boots. All requests have been met promptly and professionally and nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff at all levels are approachable and welcoming and being able to contact the room directly is so convenient. My child is very happy here

Muddy boots is a fabulous nursery, a wonderful outdoor setting with lots to occupy and educate little ones. They set the children up for school perfectly, our eldest felt prepared, excited and had a head start on numbers and phonics when he started this September. Our youngest loves digging in the allotments, gets stuck in with all the super messy play and building obstacle courses. He is so excited to go in every time. The staff are all very professional, caring and good fun and the food they serve is fresh, varied and always gobbled up.
