Such a lovely spacious Boots store! In general, I am a very firm supporter of Boots, I think their advantage card prices are brilliant and very competitive.This store in particular has a fantastic makeup and cosmetics section, and I love how much space there is upstairs! Super helpful staff too. Would recommend.

I bought 3 products from the latest skin care from N07. Previously l had been given samples to try along with very informative information from Lisa who works on N07. Although l was interested in the new products, l doubt if l would had made my purchases.Lisa is helpful without being pushy. I always prefer this approach, informative, factual and helpful, I'm looking forward to using my products.Thank you Lisa for your help, you are a credit to the Preston store.

Went to the Preston fishergate store today to look for a little something from my son to his mother for her birthday. I was helplessly looking around the various cosmetic counters as no help was on offer I went to the next and then the next and so on (you get the picture) I was looking for something specific on the fenty beauty stand, not really knowing what the exact product was I was looking around for some assistance but to my disappointment the one person whom I caught attention of was the security guard who was pretty much the only person interested in customers today. I strongly suggest that either do your shopping online to avoid the disappointment of being ignored or seeing as it's coming upto the holiday season get yourself in there and rock around these actual cardboard cut outs they call staff and get your dancing groove on like Kevin in Home alone when the wet bandits try to burglar the house (we all know the scene) dreadful customer experience!!

The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful when approached.However they layout of the shop is constantly changing, it is always way too hot inside, the makeup constantly has the safety seals broken and they never seem to have much in stock (shelves and displays are consistently bare).I'd like to say it was a one off, but the past 5 times I have been in, I've encountered these same issues each time.

Very friendly staff and they are always willing to help. A nice variety of products too. I always collect my prescriptions from there. They sometimes have very good offers in store. Make sure you also download their app and start collecting points in their rewards program. I also get special discount on their app.

I was sent an invitation to look at the free gift from Estee Lauder,when making the two purchases required to qualify. I went into Boots yesterday, and I had a very depressing experience. I have bought Estee Lauder for over 30 years and always had a lovely shopping experience with one of the Estee Lauder ladies. This is a high end product and was always professionally sold by Clare or Lisa and one or two other smart pleasant salespeople. I can only describe the scene as a Rugby scrum round a display. The sales person was by herself and attending to a customer, however when I asked her was she the Estee consultant, she said she was and could I come back in 10 minutes!!!. I left the store and will not go back. How very sad.

Useless self checkouts. Staff appear unwilling to assist with authorising purchases, which shouldn't be surprising as they sell medicines.

Cosmetics displays are always empty, poorly stocked, absolutely FILTHY. Products just left dumped everywhere. The testers are either dried out, non-existent or covered over so you can't even test them! Poorly stocked in general and usually have to resort to ordering online (which is the reason highstreets and physical stores are dying out - its the better option to go online). Its a shame because there is a good variety of brands available here but if there's never any stock, what's the point?!

No NO7 colleagues on this counter. Served myself no staff apart from Katy from counter next door. She was nice but was dissatisfied with this visit. I used to work at Boots for 11 years and the NO7 counter was NEVER unattended.
