I have just had an excellent appointment at Duignan Phelps Optometrists. A very thorough and comprehensive eye examination and excellent advice when I was choosing new glasses.Thank you to Ellen & team for your care.

First class opticians. Professional, efficient and courteous. We have been using their services for over 30 years and would not hesitate to recommend the whole team at Duignan Phelps. Our issues have not always been straightforward including a detached retina. Despite moving over 200 miles away we made an appointment for our check up when we were back in Newport and our new spectacles are being organised and forwarded to us by post.

Always professional and helpful. Noel and Ellen worked hard to find me a solution to my problems with increased screen use during lockdown. I was given several trial options and they really took the time to find the solution that worked for me even when the first didn't work and a supplier going out of business. I now have perfect lenses in my William Morris glasses that have made my work day so much easier.

Amazing, personal service as always. Thank you so much for making it possible for me to wear contact lenses to my sons wedding. My vanity was well and truly satisfied.

Recently visited for a routiune eye examination (returning Customer)Nice to see that safety was still of paramount importance which as a Customer is reassuring. The Staff are very knowledgable and offer a first class service.

First visit to Duignan Phelps and very comprehensive test using latest 3D scanner technology - in reality an MRI for the eye. Went on to buy varifocals which are fantastic. They have their own private car park which in a busy market town proved essential - highly recommended.

Highly recommend this opticians.... extremely well qualified staff... friendly and professional!!They have the latest up-to-date equipment.I feel confident that they give the best advice for maintaining healthy eyesight!!

Fantastic opticians in Newport Shropshire used by the whole family. Knowledgeable, warm and friendly customer service. Very helpful when my elderly Mum has had eye issues, damaged glasses etc.Would not hesitate to recommend them!

I have been going to Duignan Phelps Optometrists Ltd for more years than I care to count but not once have I ever had a bad experience. I find them very thorough with the work they have had to do with my eyes. Even going 3 times one year didn't phase them. As soon as you walk through the door the Atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. The staff have always have smiles for you, (shame we cannot see them with their masks on). I would recommend them very highly if someone new was asking me. I have had 3 Children looked after here from the age of 5 which the youngest is now 23. I see all the staff go way over what they are expected to do and no problem is too big for them to do for you. Thank you all for looking after my eyes and that of my families eyes too. Especially Ellen who I'm sure never seems to go home.
