Went down tonight to try out the new xmas menu, been going to oowee north street for many years now and regret to say it but each time i feel the quality of the food has decreased.£70 spent this visit which isn't an issue but what really irritated me this time is that my children had milkshakes, after the straws going soggy our 5 year old went and politely asked for another set of straws to be told by the dumpling in the Gucci scarf THATS IT NOW NO MORE.This really got my back up over a bloody cardboard straw but for a grown adult to speak to a random child like that is the nail in the coffin for me.Wont be returning also 50p for a tiny pot of ketchup is a liberty.

Used to be the best burgers in Bristol but in the past year the quality has drastically decreased along with prices getting higher. The jalapeno cheese fries were the attraction but although it's now £7.50 for a sharer portion (same size as the regular portion a year ago) the amount of jalapenos you get is pitiful. The biggest disappointment is the signature cheese sauce which is now like a split cheese flavoured roux, which tastes like it contains very little actual cheese and therefore lacks any melted gooiness and tastes terrible. Have complained about this before but no response so it must be that they've changed their recipes in response to rising costs but the quality of the product suffers.

What an utter fall from grace. Years ago they were excellent, and I'd struggle to finish a double patty burger. Now, not only are they much smaller, but just generally awful. Horrendously greasy and gristly old meat that's genuinely disgusting. Fried chicken tasted like really old / used oil. Both me and my partner felt physically sick after eating.

I have eaten here before and have just had their new breakfast and wow wow wow! The fried chicken waffle hit the spot! Also the dirty burgers here as well are just amazing! If you’re new to Bristol and look for great tasting burgers or hot breakfast Oowee diner is where it’s at!!

Got it delivered via deliveroo. Crispy chicken burger with pickled onions was delicious and surprisingly light. Dirty fries were okay, nothing unique, but the burger was definitely worth it.

Oowee is the best dirty burger place in Bristol! And even better now I’ve discovered that they are dog friendly. Ned was welcomed in and they even brought him some dog treats along with our food. The only downside I noted from our recent visit was that the music felt a bit of a strange choice… there was loud drum and bass on… at 6pm on a Thursday evening. Didn’t ruin our visit but it was just a bit weird!

Food was great. Highly recommend items from the new Christmas menu. However the bathroom experience was really awful. The toilet seat in the women's is completely hanging off and slides every which way possible. I almost fell off altogether which is risky in terms of health and safety. I also am neurodiverse and have sensory processing disorder so it is extremely unsettling to have to touch any public seat to reposition, let alone such a dirty seat. The general 'bathroom' area was unwelcoming. Considering this is a successful business and not a dingy bar, I expected a more hygienic experience.

I really wanted to love this place. I know it's great hangover food, but it was actually as if the staff was hungover. The staff taking our order rolled her eyes at us and the milkshake machine was out of order. I'll try to give the vegan locations a try.
