Had cappuccinos, almond croissant and cinnamon roll. Pastry did not look that fresh, even though we visited early in the morning, but tasted very nice, so no issues there. Coffee was good. Would go back again.

Great place. Mostly good coffee but disappointed that they only sell one type of decaf beans for those wanting to brew their coffee at home. Their decaf blend tastes okay at first then a second or two later you get smacked by what appears to be liquorice. Wish their decaf was just the same flavours as a normal coffee.

I would say a nice place to get good espresso and beans.Have tried the toasts which were lovely and took some beans home.1. Edinburgh roast2. Yirgacheffe (see photos)The yirga I have tried on a portafilter machine. Texture is nice, a bit tuning needed (bubbles on top the cream, overextraction) but between 25ml-30ml, that’s ok. Taste is typical ethopian coffee, bit taste of tropical fruits like mango.I will Check the Edinburgh roast as well soon. From the colour of the beans it is a light roasted coffee.One more thing: shipping to outside UK would be great

When I got off the train in Edinburgh, this is the first place I went. I made a beeline for it. It’s open an hour later than most shops, and that’s a good enough reason. Not to mention the super friendly staff and delish coffee. It was very good!

Nice spot for coffee. Great location and for sure an engaging staff. Anxious to go back and try another coffee roast from them. Maybe not a cafe to sit + read your book for a bit, maybe quicker turn-a-round time for business (at least that the set-up/environment, from my experience).I’ll go back, though.

Located adjacent to the Market Street Hotel, Gordon Street Coffee offers dining in and taking out. My first visit will lead to future ones, based on the scrumptious-tasting blueberry croissant and delicious iced latte I took back to enjoy in my room at Market Street Hotel. There are several additional pastry options I want to sample. Note: cashless so bring your credit card.

One of the best, if not the best, spot for excellent coffee in Edinburgh. Their selection of beans is really good. Their staff are lovely. I would say though that if you order online for either delivery or pick up the wait time is really long.
