Fleetwood Beacon Marina

Super friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are well maintained and and clean. Dredging being carried out in the outer harbour (June 2021) so spaces very limited currently. 10 minute walk to the town where you can get s tram to Blackpool for £2.20

I have had my yacht in other marinas, but put it in here last week, everyone seems super friendly, and its really easy to be able to walk to the shopping centre in under 5 mins.

Beautiful place, but unfortunately the port are allowing it slowly to fill with silt and sand. This place could be so much more. Its lovely to see people come from far still to see Fleetwood.

Full of sand so boats away from jetties into fishing boat section. Not a pretty sight anymore.

Lovley day out is it a long walk from the tram stop from last stop so if going to see the boats I would say get of at Thoroton stop and walk over much less walking but lovley boats in the marina and lovely staff to answer questions

Great area in Fleetwood. Plenty of shops all under cover. Lots of seating and nice cafes all at Affinity Shopping Outlet next to the Marina

Pleasant time sitting here in the sun while on a visit to the harbour village outlet. If you're lucky you may see the boat lift in action. Nice to see the outer dock with boats in, it would be even better if they were fishing boats again.

Nice down to earth marina, decent facilities etc

Good points: Nice main office building with toilets, showers, laundry and a small seating area with a TV and vending machine. The fish Dock pontoons are relatively new (around 10 years or so) and are well serviced. Large capacity boat hoist with large secure hard standing that has power and water. Close to shopping, coffee shops and fast food outlets.Bad points: Main marina area is badly silted and almost all pontoons have been removed. It's still a working Dock so it's noisy from about 6am, and the road in is strewn with waste polystyrene etc. Watch out for fork lifts reversing into the road without looking. Since the closure of the ferry terminal the river isn't dredged like it used to be and in strong westerly winds you can be be beam on to swells coming over the sandbank. Quite a lot of the time the entrance barrier is up meaning anyone can enter.
