Found this place a couple of months ago on our way to Cornwall , lovely country pub very traditional but with excellent food , 3 times been and consistently good every time , delicious food every time .

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends.The baked goats cheese on Caramelized onion relish was gorgeous and came with a full salad. Followed by a yummy banana split. Good sized portions and great value.Will definitely be back soon.

Stayed one night. The room was clean and bright the bed very comfortable. Had a very nice dinner in the restaurant area of the bar. In the bar some very well kept real ale. After a full English breakfast my wife and I agreed we will definitely be returning. We would recommend the Winch to anyone.

Love this pub, walk out across the fields to the Winch alot in the summer, tend to have a half and some crisps in the beer garden. Ate there Saturday and great burgers. Friendly and welcoming, proper local doing good range of food, well worth a visit.

My first time here and I will be going back more regularly. Simply fantastic food and great portion sizes. Drinks and food prices are excellent. Dogs welcome and lovely seating area next to the stream. A lovely place to sit with friends have a drink and a meal and take the time to relax.

Fantastic location lovely old world pub traditional.Had garlic mushrooms to start so creamy and an abundance of garlic.Had a roast Beef dinner fantastic beef done to my liking well done but a spoon would cut it, beautiful roast potatoes and Yorke. Vegetables were brilliant and the quantities were great.Excellent waiting staff , efficient and friendly.patrick the owner very hospitable. There were 4 of us including a 5 year old who enjoyed his sausage beautiful chips and beans.

Has a great stay at the Winchester Arms over the weekend. Super friendly staff and the room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back when we're down this way again.

What a pub! Just in for rewarding drinks after a wonder through the muddy fields and lanes.Landlord's welcome will have us back on just that alone. Clean and tidy pub, beers were as they should be. Lovely outdoor area where we sat.It was mothers day and as expected, the place was packed, with what seemed very happy guests.We have been for food before, and it was delicious.
