I'm actually not happy with the service from one of the colleagues today, I didn't catch a name but she was very rude about till sharing. We went to the self service checkouts, waited in the queue but my sister in law forgot something and went back to go and get it while myself and my partner waited in the queue. We got to a machine, my partner paid for his items first as we pay separately as always, and as it got to my turn to pay, my sister in law came back to us and the colleague told her she couldn't join us because there were people waiting (for cash self service might I add, and we were on card) and it wasn't fair to them as she had a full basket. So because I only had three items I was paying for, I decided to go to the back of the queue instead (which was three people long not including myself, one of which was waiting for a cash self service and one of which was waiting for a person) and in the time it took for her to argue with us about sharing the till, at least 3 people from the queue went to go on pay on available tills. I have never encountered this kind of reaction in any asda establishment before, or any other supermarket establishment for that matter. Not to mention the gentleman who went to the colleague service, pushed in front of the queue while I was talking to another customer who let me go in front of him because I only had 3 items and was paying card while he was waiting for a cash service machine.

Been a loyal customer for 20 years. Over last 12 months gone down hill. You’re lucky to get a basket when you go in. Nobody on checkout only self serve. Nobody at kiosk. There was a woman today with 50+ items they made her use the only self serve till at kiosk. Anyone who needed kiosk cigarettes or vapes had to wait til she had finished. The queue was half down the aisle Staff more concerned with scanning plastic bags so people don’t steal them. Why can’t they open the big till. ?? It’s like this everyday now.

Usually shop asda online and get it delivered weekly but pop in the odd weekend to get things for the weekend. Went in today, had our shopping on the conveyor belt on the only manned till to be told by presumably the supervisor or manager to remove all the shopping off the belt and to use self serve as they were closing the till. Asked her if we could finish paying for the shopping but it was no they needed to close it at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Went in a few weeks ago and same lady was shouting in the isles at a member of staff for missing a tannoy call in-font off all the customers. Shocking management, think this lady needs to be put on a customer service course. Thank you to the member of staff who could see we were clearly annoyed and came over to help us, it’s a shame the staff have a better attitude than supposed supervisors/managementEdit so I can respond to Asdas commentIt was Saturday 20th May around 3pm. Lady wears a high vis vest, around 50-60 years in age, grown out blond highlights and constantly runs around the till area like she’s on speed shouting at staff and customers

Occasionally pop in here after work for the basics and for that it serves its purpose. On a Friday, the ‘basics’ may include some ‘adult beverages’ of which there’s a good selection (although they could do with refrigerating their beers). The downside of this store and perhaps this is an ASDA strategy (I never shop at their stores, preferring the alternatives so I’m not to know), is that all the tills bar one, are self service ones! This means that on a Friday teatime as I pop-in for my ‘basics’ the tills slow down the sale whilst a staff member ‘authorises’ my transaction. Fine if it's just me, but as is the case on a post-work Friday, everyone else has the same idea about the ‘basics’ resulting in delays and stressed staff members as they try to get around everyone to authorise their baskets. This results in frustrated customers, including me, who are expecting the speedy throughput that self-service tills are supposed to deliver.More staffed tills are needed at peak times please.

There are some wonderful, helpful staff at this store. It was such a shame today to hear one staff member raising his voice threatening another staff member in front of customers. Swearing and saying he has S*** loads of money and didn't need to work there. Well done to the lady he was threatening being so professional and just going and getting on with her job.

Decided to give it another chance after last experience of rude staff and l see things haven't changed. Waiting to use the one special " checkout if you want lottery tickets and kept waiting as the customer in front using the "special " checkout busy on her phone as she chatted to the two store staff

I ordered products from this supermarket. They took my money, but didn't send all items paid for. I have tried to contact customer services but there isn't that option on the phone.. ?? I submitted a request for refund, but now can't find it.Sad when customers have their money stolen. Shocked at you Asda.
