Tesco Express

Always a great experience in this shop. Staff always give fantastic service and the store always has everything i need. This is clearly a result of great management that has been fed down to a great team.

Good opening hours to get milk, eggs and the paper on a Sunday morning. The car park next to the store does get very busy and takes some patience. The store is organised for distancing there's security limiting the numbers of shoppers at peak times which does mean a wait to get in and there's no shelter if the weather is wet. The store has a good selection for an express store even has selection of gluten free produce which was unexpected.

Must be the worst Tesco whoosh service in the UK ! Just had TWO whoosh cancelled, been waiting three hours now for a 20-40 minute delivery and even Tesco head office can't get an answer from them.!!! I will never use Tesco or whoosh again. They have had a 70 year old man with cancer sitting here waiting for three hours for nothing. It was THREE items, they weren't even picked for delivery head office told me. I would advise avoiding like the plague ! I certainly will

Helpful and efficient knowledge and friendly staff.Much more than a quick stop and shop.

You don't get a Lean Customer Experience here, always queues at the tills either because there is no one around to serve or you have to wait for someone to give you a bag, giving the impression they don't trust customers enough to self serve themselves a bag.There always seems to be food cages all over the store with no one working on them, probably trying to be efficient without knowing what they are doing, making it inefficient for them creating a poor customer experience, some aisles are blocked or cages blocking the product customers want.I only go there because it's close,

Not the range of a full sized Tesco store and pricing is a little higher, in some instances, but it's very convenient for locals and easy to access

Normally never have any sort of problem here. The staff are normally outstanding and absolutely lovely people. Today however, my opinion changed. I don't know what was up, but the big bloke with short black hair has a serious attitude problem. He seemed like he was rushed off his feet and the way he spoke to me and others he served before us was absolutely atrocious. In fact, the way he spoke to us made both me, and my missus, feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcomed. He basically told us to shut up when we asked a question. Mind you, the other staff still seemed lovely. So I hate to single someone out, who may just have been having a funny five minutes. This is why I've still rated it 3 stars instead of 1. But I think it's worth noting. I understand it when people are busy, but at the end of the day, if one of us had spoken to a customer (we both work in retail) in the way he did, we would have been disciplined on the spot.But like I said, he could have just been having a funny five minutes, and if we go back again soon, and his attitude has changed, I'll happily take down my review.

I've just been there for shopping , i bought an energy drink ( needs to show an id or something) everything ok,then i ask for a pack of cigarettes and that women who does not weaver even a tesco uniform she ask me about ID,she didnt ask me for id when i take the energy drink but she ask me for id when i ask for cigarettes. This is the worst experience ever.Btw im 32 years old.

Poor product lines with a lack of quality stuff. No thick bacon, gammon, steaks, potatoes, veg, etc. They appear to have more space set aside for alcohol and low quality foods. Maybe you get better stuff in a store in a more up market area. Opening hours are ok.
