Ladies within the office are lovely and quick to help you fix any issues. I rented around 3 years with no issues.HOWEVER they try to scam you when you move out when it comes to your deposit. The photos they take after you move out are totally zoomed in and focus on a LITERAL crumb / piece of dust! Take hundreds of photos of absolutely everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Not just room-wide photos. Although my flat was left clean, they got a cleaner to go in anyway. They wanted to charge over £150 for damages and for cleaning. I asked to see the cleaning invoice and they tried to charge me ~£25 for mattress protectors?! It seems that this is a frequent occurrence with other renters.

I rented a property through home guard for 7 years. Always found them to be helpful and professional. Lovely to have the same staff and people doing house inspections over the years. It says a lot about a company when they keep their staff. The women on the other side of the phone or email were always so friendly. People who came out to do repairs were always respectful. I paid for an end of tenancy clean person recommended by homeguard at a cost of £85 ( well worth it) and got every penny of my deposit back no problem.

We have used Homeguard Leasing for over 15 years and, at all times, found them to be friendly, helpful and courteous as well as professional. They have made sure that for the most part we have had reliable tenants, sometimes not easy when the market is tight. Despite being 500 miles away when renting out, they have paid every attention to our requests. Highly recommend them.

Homeguard are outstanding on all levels. I am really happy with their professional service as a new Landlord. Top class guidance and ensured the person who moved into the property was the right one.Their time in the rental business talks volumes (30+yrs)I would recommend them to anyone. I cant thank them enough.

I cannot recommend this agency enough.When looking for a student flat, they showed me 6 flats in one day that each met all of my requirements.Subsequently, I have been a tenant with Homeguard Leasing for three years and have been more than satisfied with them. I have had several problems in my flat over the years (from broken heaters to leaking washing machine and a leaking window) and they have always been extremely responsive and always dedicated to fix the problem as soon as possible. Contact with them has always been friendly. I've heard of other people trying to contact their landlord for weeks without getting a reply and this will definitely not be a problem with Homeguard.Terminating the tenancy is going very hassle-free, too.

We rented with Homeguard for just over four years. We never had any major issues with the property, but any small problems we did have were sorted out quickly by capable tradesmen. People carrying out inspections were always polite and unintrusive . Would definitely recommend if you are looking to rent in Aberdeen.

We were with homeguard leasing for just over a year as tenants. They were cooperative, understanding, fast to take care of any issues and respond to us over any matter. We dealt with a majority of the staff who were all very pleasant and welcoming. They are very clear and show their appreciation for good and cooperative tenants, we never had any issues with no responses or no help and always went above to take care of any needs we had. We are sad to leave such a lovely company but hope to deal with them again in future if we ever move. A big thank you to Roma personally who was amazing to deal with and so kind, and to the whole team - we would highly recommend taking a property with them as agents.

Super harsh with their move out inspections! Trying to take my deposit for professional cleaning, when the house wasn't clean when I moved in! The inspection photos were super zoomed in patches on the house that had a little dust and in one case a single dog hair!

Coming from France to live in Scotland for a short period, we rented a flat managed by Homeguard Leasing.All the persons working there are king and lovely, always glad to answer any questions, and they provided us all the help we needed through the tenancy when we had issues.I would definitely recommand, I don't I will meet with a nicer leasing agency than this one in the future.

Can I be critical off the staff at Homeguard Leasing, No and Yes the girls in the office, accounts a good bunch and that's plain fact.However I got ripped off when it came to getting my deposit back, I've rented for must be near to four straight years, So thousands of pounds to them and through them the home owners.Both homes looked good but really ended up being ramshackle places.I have to accept I didn't give enough thought and or time to thorough inspection of both properties, The first was a living nightmare and the second descended gradually to around the same.Both weren't serviced to a standard that was safe,the first was just a wreck no investment and the second was outright dangerous.The Gas boiler was in poor working order and in November in entirety through to the second week of December 2020 I had no heating or hot water and I phoned and was told the owner likes to sort these issues himself, he didn't and it never got fixed it limped along because I learned how to at least get that out of it.I had to prepare for a full electricians audit never happened the wiring was in bad shape.The security doors didn't work and they just made a figure up and skimmed it off my deposit, I endeavoured through trying times to always make sure every effort was made to successfully complete my rent obligations.So yeah on the face you'll be meeting some genuinely good people in the office but the overall ethos is barely legal and I would advise if you use Homeguard go over the property with a fine tooth comb and don't settle for sub standard housing.
