Have just returned from a trip to Croatia using this company and would not recommend at all. The drivers were rude and dismissive and would not allow us regular refreshment and toilet breaks as we were promised. We stopped ONCE in 21 hours for half an hour at a service station that was barely open. With no running water and a limited toilet tank to last an outbound and return journey each lasting 30 hour, this was unacceptable. After taking this issue higher up after being ignored by the coach drivers, the issue was not resolved for our return journey. Again we were only allowed one stop, setting off at 8:30am and only stopping for half an hour at 4:30pm, and then not allowed off the coach until we had to board a ferry at 4am. 12 hours stuck on coach with limited facilities is again, unacceptable and left us highly uncomfortable the entire journey. I sincerely hope Sportsvest acknowledge these complaints and do not use this company again.

First class service driver was pleasant and very polite and the coach was clean and tidy with toilet and tv and great music from the drivers phone we all enjoyed the coach journey more than the excursion we will definitely use them again

We had a booking of just under 50 mams and kids going from one town to another for a Christmas panto busiest time of year to receive a phone call only 2 hours in advance to say all drivers had been out night before and were still unfit to drive so would not be coming to collect us! As you can imagine this was not the news we wanted with it being 4 days until Christmas a metro strike in place and only 2 hours notice with lots of excited kiddies! Thankfully we did manage to use another company who where absolutely fantastic but never would I ever recommend this firm they clearly have no care for customers and lost out on over £200!

This bus company constantly parks illegally in the yellow no parking for any vehicle hatchings outside Northern Saints Primary School which are there to proect the safety of the school children. Thoughtless and illegal behaviour

Unfortunately they had to pull out of our tour as they could not get the right documentation for Germany. I wish I could have given them a better review as they are very friendly and helpful but they have left us with little time to sort out something new now.

The worst journey I have ever been on. I would not recommend using this company at all! The route was poorly planned and the drivers were incredibly rude and dismissive. Over a 31 hour coach journey to Croatia we were only allowed to stop off ONCE as it seemed that the drivers were rushing to get their shift over and done with.Despite asking politely about stops the drivers only argued with passengers and threatened to kick them off. When we arrived at our only stop, on the Journey there, the shop was closing in 5 minutes and the toilets were also shut so we had to go in unhygienic metal portaloos.After complaining to the tour company nothing was resolved on the journey back and once again we were only allowed one stop over the entire journey, despite having been promised regular ones. The coach had no running water and a small toilet tank, that had to last both journeys, meaning that people were left very hungry, dehydrated and uncomfortable. Even when the drivers stopped to swap over we were not allowed to leave the coach.In addition to this, on the journey back when we arrived at the boarder control the drivers did not tell us what was going on and when we figured out what we had to do for ourselves and started getting off they rudely told us to hurry up or we would miss the ferry. Furthermore, before allowing us to check whether everyone was on the coach they proceeded to drive off, leaving one of the girls behind meaning that we were delayed even more and missed the ferry that we had rushed so much to get. This meant we had two hours to wait around for the next departure. In this time we could have had multiple stops.Other coach companies took a different route to the port. Even though they had departed from Croatia later than us they were able to have regular stops and still managed to get to the port at the same time as us.I felt that this treatment was completely unacceptable and that my rights were violated on both journeys. If I could give them no stars I would. I sincerely hope that Sportsvest takes these complaints in to account and never uses them again.It will be noted that the last driver that we had from Dover to Leeds on the way back was very nice yet this was only a short part of the overall journey.

Great coach company would definetly reccomend using this fantastic business

This review pertain to the long distance trip from Leeds to Croatia and back as part of 2019 Sportsvest tour - 30-31 hour each way.Not much to say but the 2 drivers - one which being the owner David Dove himself were extremely unfriendly to us during the return trip to sportsvest tour - coach consisting of students from leeds, loughborough and Derby - 31 hour trip and 1 toilet break via each way, with the forward trip stop to be at a closed service station, with student who raised the concern being theatrened by the drivers to be thrown off the bus in a different country, and with no sympathy to students feeling sick at back of the bus.Also there has been consistently bad route choices and wrong turns leading delays on arrival from Croatia back to the UK - sad to say the attitude of the 2 drivers from France to Croatia - one being David Dove himself, is abysmal and hugely unprofessional, with the third driver - Leeds to Dover being extremely professional - still, the overall bad experience out weighs the good, hence the review. P.S. only gave 2 stars as the UK driver was professional, else it'd be 1 or 0.Edit - found out actually it was against the EU complaince for long distance coaches that coaches should stop every 4 and half hours which this company fell foul of - with the boss actually adamant in not taking breaks for 10 hours, on that basis, the downgrade is to 1 star. And will be making a formal complaint - as I've GPS data to relevant regulatory bodies to ensure it does not happen to something else, as some of us may had bruises due to the long journey with no breaks.

Possibly the worst coach experience we have ever had in our life. 31 hour coach journey to Croatia with the RUDEST coach drivers ever, only 1 stop the entire time at a place with limited working toilets and no hot food. Problem wasn’t revsolved on journey back and sportvest should cut all ties with this awful company.
