Just want to mention Katie at Durham branch. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she has helped us enormously in the purchase of our new property. She is very down to earth, making things understandable to me while remaining professional. Katie keeps us well informed on the sale of our current home.

I had a complicated house sale with a couple of unexpected issues due to the nature of the house construction. Kathryn Greensmith looked cafter the sale for me. She has a very professionsal approach and used her knowledge, skills and patience (I am registered blind and do not live in England) to guide me through the various procedures involved, which I found very re-assuring and helpful. The result was a very successful conclusion with the property being sold at a price rather higher than I anticipated! Pattinsons also managed the property for me for eight years and I always found their property management service to be first class with great attention to detail.

When purchasing a home on sale with Pattinsons Kathryn was excellent helping me overcome obstacles with my own sale falling through. Her communication with the vendor explaining the delay assisted me to still proceed with the purchase. I would 100% recommend & use if I sell a property in the future.

The team have been very supportive and professional in assisting me with preparing my property for rental and facilitating viewing and shortlisting potential tenants. Communication has been frequent, clear and concise. Katheryn has been particularly good but all the team have been great. This can be a very anxious period for a landlord but I feel well supported by the Durham team.

I was selling a terraced house that I had done significant amount of work on and wanted it to go to an owner occupier that would benefit from it and be a good neighbour to our friends next door; I didn't want it to go to buy to let. Our first sale fell through, but Kathryn Greensmith at Pattinsons found exactly the profile of purchaser I was hoping for. Kathryn was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. She concluded the sale at the price I wanted, and everything has gone smoothly. I have since spoken with the purchaser who is as Kathryn described and so remain very pleased with the outcome.

It was our first time buying a house and we found it quite daunting, but the team helped us massively and kept us informed throughout the process. The service we had from Pattinsons was very good. They kept us updated at each step of selling our house. My only complaint was the solicitors we were given for the conveyancing. Hedleys of Sunderland. Please don't use them as the are extremely hard to get in touch with and we were charged for a service that they said was free.

This is my first time dealing with Pattinson having tried most of the other local companies and I have to say it’s wonderful, excellent service, always easy to get hold off and an absolute joy to deal with.
