In this day of mass-produced poor-quality items, it is refreshing to discover Miles and his team. They are true craftsmen and their love for woodwork shows in their work.I came across Miles when I saw an example of his work. We needed a new front door, but I didn’t want something mass produced. I wanted something to make a statement at the entrance. I had an vision in my mind of what I wanted. With Mile’s input, he guided me to what was possible and how to achieve a design that not only matched my vision, but exceeded it. He and his team have created a front door, that shows off the beauty of the wood in a contemporary style. Miles took me through each stage of the process and I now have a front door to be proud of.I would not hesitate to recommend Miles and his team.

Miles and the team built and installed an oak staircase. They were very professional and customer-focused throughout the design, manufacture and installation. The work was to a very high standard. Highly recommended.

In response to the negative review from the customer we never actually managed to get a quote to......the client asked for a staircase which was in fact illegal and dangerous use. As explained at the time. The only way I would be willing to manufacture this was by moving the joists in the clients Attic floor and by manufacturing a more complicated staircase. IF she had actually waited for her quotation to be delivered she would of been able to see what I had actually allowed for in the said job, instead of sending abusive text messages and putting personal attacks myself and my company on all public forums. I have since had to block this person from my phone and suggest that she read all my good reviews from the 10 years I have been trading with the only one (her review in a negative manner). If she would of listened to me she or indeed let me carry out the works this could of been avoided. Regards Miles Laughton
