This is an amazing place to stay - the views are absolutely stunning and the lodges are so comfy and practical. We stayed for the weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff were so lovely and catered to every need that we had - especially Lynsey and Nathan. The breakfast and five star and we were very well looked after by the staff there and had a great time. They provided a great service and tasty food and catered to our dietry needs.Thank you so much for an incredible stay making us feel so welcome and put our anxiety’s at ease. We will be back :)❤️

Went for meals on two days. Excellent service, very accommodating. Meals were swift in coming and good. Enjoyed the quiet , private layout . Great time.

Wonderful staff and nicely appointed hotel and restaurant. We would stay anytime in the area. Very intimate and personal. I highly recommend. You feel like a family member rather than a guest.

I dined here recently and ordered the Glenisle Burger. I took a bite and noticed that it happened to be raw in the middle. I told a member of staff who immediately sorted this. Within about 20 minutes they had sorted me out with a new burger, this time cooked throughly. Staff were very apologetic and professional. The new burger was absolutely awesome, awesome food and atmosphere was great, good music on the radio too. Everyone else dining with me enjoyed their food too. I would rate five stars but being given a raw burger is a little concerning and makes me wonder if this has happened before or is a regular occurrence.I didn’t stay in the rooms so I can’t comment on them.

We stayed locally in Whiting Bay and were delighted to find this bar and bistro open all weekdays in the month of October. We enjoyed lovely gins here, and local beers too.We came back for dinner another evening and found the staff again to be really friendly again. A small issue with one of our mains was dealt with brilliantly, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bistro to anyone visiting the island.

Waitress was very attentive and friendly, so 5 stars for service. However, the menu was very limited, especially the sandwich options. Food was mediocre at best, sandwich had way too much mayonnaise in it for my taste (menu doesn't specify otherwise I would've asked for butter/no mayo). We had two teas, tiny bottle of Lemonade and three sandwiches, which in total cost £35!! I understand the need for competitive pricing, but for what we received it was overpriced, sorry.

Ideally located on the waterfront facing the Lamlash pier, moored yachts and the Holly Isle with the centre of world peace and health in view. The hotel had a small carpark for around 6 cars and a large beer garden with outdoor seating and tables. The room we had was spacious, comfortable with more than enough cupboard and drawer storage space. We had an ensuite with a shower in the bath. The room came with a kettle and a generous selection of tea, coffee and colourful Dean's shortbread biscuits. The dining area was large in size, but spread out in smaller separate areas. We had our first evening meal in the hotel and it was fantastic with good menu selection. Our room came with free breakfast and with more than adequate selection, but small in portion size. One of us didn't feel like having much to eat one morning and asked for an omelette, this request was declined as it wasn't on the menu. However we still had a lovely time during our stay.

We had dinner in the bistro attached to the hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. Service was brilliant, staff were friendly, kind and attentive. Bistro has a lovely interior and is very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean! Food was amazing! We had the butternut squash chilli and coconut soup, the haggis and apple bonbons, the burger, and the Mac and cheese— couldn’t fault it at all it was all delicious. We had our dog with us too and the staff were so welcoming for us and her which was lovely! We’ll definitely be back!
