Accomodation is student halls about 30 minute walk away from city centre. It is functional and reasonably priced. There is no soap or a bin in the ensuite or room. And because it's student halls every door is a fire door and they do slam shut unless shut sllwly manually. A lot of slamming of doors which was disruptive at night and in the morning but not alot can be done about that! Enjoyed the stay regardless and the campus is stunning

Modern, clean and practical. Ideal as a base to explore the area, busy out all day and back for the night. Big communal kitchen with seating area at the end of the corridor.Will suit more solo traveller or young couples, althought there were quite a few senior citizens as well.

We walked from the train - it was a bit of an adventure. The place was clean and very quiet. The staff was friendly and very helpful. As the accomodations are new there are still a few quirks. For example there is not yet an air conditioner to go along with the thermostat in every room. The shared kitchen and TV/sitting rooms are nice. Coffee and tea fixings are supplied. We took advantage of the laundry but be aware you need your own soap and payment is via an 'app' on your smart phone of other device. Overall it was a nice change from the usual hostel.

My work put us in here while the students were on their summer break. The hottest building I've ever been in. Literally unbearable and almost impossible to sleep. Would refuse to work away if this place was selected for me again.

I was very disappointed with the management team this year around. The accommodation, in my opinion, was not in a good state for the students to move in and they very clearly did not do the required inspections. Cupboard doors were loose, toilet roll holders off the walls, previous students had not removed their belongings from the kitchen cupboards and in a minimum of 1 case from the bedroom. The appliances are in a poor state and need cleaning up and repairing. For what is being charged (more than my 3 bedroomed house) it is really not acceptable.

Hot rooms, slightly dirty common rooms, not much to cook with in the kitchen (pots etc), not a very interesting surrounding, quite loud. Only plus: staff was very friendly.

Student dorm room located outside of Inverness. Room was clean and comfortable. Large window opened horizontally to add some breeze. Not located near downtown, but is within a 10 minute walk of strip mall with grocery store and restaurants. Satisfactory for an overnight stay.

Yes, there are some maintenance issues, but all in all a great place to stay, and a bargain for you if you don't mind a few minor hiccups. Firstly, everything is very clean and fairly new. Secondly it is better than hostels security. Thirdly, there is shopping and pubic transportation within walking distance too. Just don't expect the common areas to be well equipped and watch for the occasional broken door lock, broken window latch, broken drawers. The staff are exceedingly friendly and if you point out these broken things they are keen to fixup.
