I wouldn't even give it one star but had to for posting I won't be order again from there food was spoilt by way to much salt service was good though

Not even worth 1 star. Ordered online with an indicated 1 hour wait. 2 and a half hours later our food finally arrived (after an hour of being unable to contact them to chase up our order as the phone appeared to have been taken off the hook). Food was hot but wrong dishes sent and still unable to contact them to address the issue. Will definitely never be ordering from them again even if the food was worth the price (which it definitely wasn't)

Not impressed at all... I went into restaurant and placed an order and went home to find that the order was completely wrong... I asked for a chicken in orange source and instead got chicken in sweet chilli sauce, asked for a special fired rice and it was missing, asked for a satay source and got curry source. When i phone she said that everything i got was what what i placed in the order and yet she confirmed order back to me as i read to her whilst i was in the restaurant. I would completely avoid, not the first time this has happened.

I’ve been meaning to post a review since moving into Retford almost 2 years ago.I was disappointed to read some if the reviews as we had high hopes of the restaurant, as it’s very close to where I live.Our experience over that time has always been positive.... the good is tasty and very good value for money. I’ve never had any problem with the service either as the staff have always been friendly!We’ve tried numerous fast food places in town and think this is our favourite!If there was a an award for the best meal in town, then the ‘Hotbox’ from Open Kitchen would get my vote every time! Huge portion, loads of meat and some heat for the adventurous!!!

I order from open kitchen around once a month. I'm a coeliac (no gluten wheat barley or rye) and they always accommodate my allergy. Friendly staff. I tend to order the special foo young as it is so tasty and fresh. Always delivered hot. Not had one dish come to my door cold or unsatisfactory. And I've been ordering for the best part of a year now. 10/10

We've been using this place for years. The last three orders were just OK, we decided to collect the latest order. Having now seen the level of cleanliness of the place we'll never use again, we were gobsmacked at the dirt.

The best Chinese food in town. Forget about the Chinese restaurants in and around Retford that charge ridiculous amounts. Prompt and efficient customer service. My family and I have been ordering from Open Kitchen since they started, and we will never go anywhere else. And we also love to support small local businesses.

Awefull, food overdone chips hard burnt, had to throw away 3/4 of them sweet n sour chicken balls very hit n miss some proper chicken others the grissly underneath meat!! And they rob you for sweet n sour sauce!!! I wouldnt go there and give my money to them again,
