Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club

Went for a weekend of golf. Played both courses, both were in excellent condition.Stayed overnight and the rooms were exactly what you would want for a short stay, breakfast was superb as was dinner the night before

Stayed for one night at Dale Hill and played golf the next day. Room was very nice. Had dinner at the Wealden View restaurant. Service was excellent and food delicious. The golf course was fantastic and we will definitely be returning to play here again. All in all a great stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

I attended a Christmas Party evening on Sat 9th Dec 2023 and was very disappointed. When we arrived, the hotel felt cold and my party kept our coats on, while we waited to be called to take our seats for dinner. My main meal was luke warm and I sent it back to be reheated/replaced. The same meal was returned to me on a scalding hot plate but the food was hardly any warmer. I ate it, not wishing to spoil my party's evening. While the beef (in my case) was delicious and cooked perfectly, the rest of the meal was, at best, mediocre. The Christmas pudding was really not good! After dinner, the party atmosphere started to rise with people getting up to dance to the disco music, until there was a sudden influx of people (not from the 'party' dining room) arriving onto and completely filling the dance floor. So much so, there was no room for the people from our 'party night' (various company's festive celebrations) to dance. Sadly, this was the status quo until it was time to go home. The 'strangers' who arrived after our meal, (even the bar staff said they didn’t know where they had come from) were having a great time and good luck to them, but why were so many people (all those dining in the same room as my party, plus a similar number who joined the throng after dinner), booked in on the same night. The facilities, offered by your venue, was completely inadequate. On an overcrowded dancefloor, the 'newcomers' were dancing while holding glasses of alcohol and one was even vaping!!! The inevitable happened and a glass of beer was dropped on the dance floor, the glass shattered and suddenly, the dance floor was a slip danger for dancers, as well as an unthinkable injury hazard for anyone dancing in bare feet. On a positive note, there were two young bar staff, who were a credit to your hotel, even though an older staff member, also working at the bar, was heard to be incredibly rude to customers. My personal 'party night' didn't happen because the venue was cold and less than welcoming, my food was less than warm and the problem not rectified and I couldn't dance, there was no room on the dance floor and because of other's people's disregard, it was also dangerous. I would appreciate your response.

Enjoyed our stay at Dale Hill! Placed in an incredible area.Nothing to complain about the room. Clean & reasonably spacious & amenities.Bad experience with the bar service. We had to wait over 1h for our food to arrive, and oh..Would give less than 1 star for its quality(we had pizza and a veggie burger - both: horrible!)However, breakfast was delicious (classic English breakfast)

We only stayed one night and had been to a wedding earlier so didn't book in till late. Our room ( 105) was very spacious and airy with quality furniture, a comfy bed. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower which we much prefer. Our Monday morning breakfast was a buffet of pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cereal and freshly cooked selection including full English, scrambled egg/ smoked salmon on toast, etc.

The room was great quality the only thing that let it down which is why I can’t give a 5 star due the the 2-3 moth cases on the ceiling corners and corners on ceiling above bed that the cleaners could have easily sucked up with the long hose of a hoover as their not hard to see. room was great bathroom was great and the breakfast was 5 star quality taste.

We had our wedding reception here on the 14th of July. It was a excellent day. Food was excellent cooked to perfection with plenty to choose from. The staff were excellent friendly and there whit a response for any questions we had. The guests at our wedding many said it was the best wedding meal they had.So thanks to everyone of the staff that could be seen and the staff that worked behind the scenes. Ye real helped make our day a special and memorable day.

We played golf here for the first time. Loved the course, well kept, challenging and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely play here again. Lots of parking, good pro shop, friendly staff.There is a driving range but it's not huge.Didn't eat, drink or stay in the hotel so can't give comments on that side of the business.

Nice room, very modern with a good shower, comfortable bed, but you have to keep your clothes on as golfers walk past your window. Lovely views
