A beautifully decorated ground floor one bedroom flat just outside the walls and an easy walk into the centre of York. It comes with a dedicated car parking space which is a huge bonus.Flat itself is lovely – it’s been newly renovated with a lot of care and attention. Bed is super comfy; shower is great and there’s plenty of space to lounge around on the sofa. Lots of lovely additional touches like DVDs, maps & info about York, fresh flowers and thoughtful touches like ear plugs and sleep masks (not that we needed either).The flat is managed by Daisy and she was incredibly helpful and super responsive. I would thoroughly recommend staying there if you can.

Had a 3 night stay here in August , it isn't a cheap appartment but has been furnished to the highest standard thus the price , worth every penny , within a 5 minute walk to the city centre , bonus is every appartment has its own parking bay . It is in a nice quite location , would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again

Had a fab stay at Penley's Apartment, which has recently had a complete refurb to a lovely standard. Everything is brand new!The place had everything we needed for our short stay, even the all important ice in the freezer for your welcoming York Gin G&T.It had a lovely airy feeling for a one bed apartment. The bed was comfortable, lovely dining area and sofa with pull out option where we relaxed to watch England on the 50' smart TV.Really useful off street parking, so no worries forgetting to put any parking permits in the car. Top tip, reverse into the parking space at the back.The location is literally a couple of minutes walk from the City Walls and Minster and Goodramgate, is just through the Bar walls, with plenty of eateries.If you like Indian cuisine, you are spoilt for choice. We had a sit down at the Viceroy which was great, but it's a short walk to loads of places.There is also a large Sainsbury's really close, which was really convenient to grab what we needed.A great base to enjoy York!

Fantastic place to stay when visiting York. Flat is so clean and has everything you could need. Central to town and all bars and restraunts within walking distance.

Great apartment in a wonderful location, only 5 minutes walk to the centre of York. Has everything you could need for a short stay, an allocated off-street parking space is a bonus too. Great communication from the host. This was our second stay here. We'll be back for a third.Book direct with violethomes to save some money too.
