Cluttergone

Jo is a very good declutterer. She has worked with us for several years. During that time we have sorted through the whole house plus several crates in safe storage. Life is now simpler and easier and we know where things are.She is cheerful, patient, hard working, has a good memory and gives wise practical advice.During the pandemic she was sensibly cautious and always wore a mask. Highly recommended.

For various reasons, I moved from a four-bedroom detached house into a two bedroom flat. As the removal firm arrived with my belongings and when they saw the flat from the outside they laughed and asked how we’d fit all the stuff in. Once everything was moved in (well, squeezed in wherever it would fit) I reached out to Cluttergone to help me through my unfolding nightmare. It was the second time I’d used them. First time the declutterer was very helpful, respectful, polite and effective. This second time the consolidation of mountains of accumulated “essentials”  was much trickier due to the space constrains. Jo was wonderful. Patient, measured and respectful while being just assertive enough to help me “let go” of things which feels like one of the trickiest parts of the process and is so much easier with someone else than arguing with myself. I was left feeling much lighter about my home and had learnt ways of keeping my home more clutterfree going forwards.I’d use them again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone that needs reliable, professional and effective help delivered with caring empathy.

I contacted Cluttergone as i had let my house become quite untidy and wanted to become more minimal. When Caroline came round she was really friendly, understanding and helpful. My house looks and feels so much better now! I can't thank her enough! I would highly recommend Cluttergone to anyone who needs a little help organising their space.

We had Jo’s help for the last year or so. We can’t praise Jo highly enough. We’re trying to get rid of clutter but just didn’t know where to start. We felt quite anxious about letting someone into our flat but she’s been brilliant - so helpful, kind and non-judgmental. We’ve cleared so much stuff with her help and can finally get back into our garden which has been almost off limits for the last 5 years because of the amount of ‘stuff’ that was getting in the way of the door. Highly recommend.

I contacted this company as I required help with my house. I informed them that I had anxiety and that my husband had died so she was aware of my issues. They never ended up coming. I received a phone call to change the date of my intial visit then two days later I received an email postponing their visit for at least over two weeks after I have already waited two weeks. Yes the person was ill which is beyond the owners control, but my problem with the whole thing is She rang me when she wanted to change the appointment but couldn't be professional enough to ring me when she was effectively cancelling my appointment. All I got was excuses. I wasn't offered anyone else for which there is no excuse as you have to pay for their travel and supposedly have people all over the country. If you are a vulnerable person which is exactly the kind of person they are aiming their business towards I would give them a wide steer. Disgusting behaviour.

Although the idea of having help decluttering is quite appealing, I really needed someone to help me sort through the contents of a small flat where I've lived for 17 years. Quite a lot of stuff just needed to be chucked out, quite a lot was destined for donation to charity and the rest needed to be packed up for moving house. Jo came for two days and worked diligently with us scarcely stopping for breath. She was a pleasure to work with, which wasn't easy for any of us as the temperatures those two days exceeded 30deg.
