Wimpole Home Farm
Great activities for children, provided by the National Trust at the main Wimpole Estate office. We spent a considerable amount of time here. Our children loved exploring and collecting the stamps, as well as seeing baby animals, before visiting the play area. When you're a small child what's not to love about that?!

It has changed a lot since I last visited about 5 years ago. New entrance and better parking, but a big increase in prices! We wanted to see the horses but at £18 for the park, gardens and farm, it was too expensive. We paid £9 to go in park and the gardens (the walled garden was lovely) and we could also visit the courtyard and cafe. For a whole day maybe £18 would be worth paying, but not for just for few hours. We still enjoyed our visit. The cafe was nice and had a good choice, but definitely could do with some more undercover seating as it was raining.

Wimpole Home Farm
Great day out! House is stunning, gardens and woodland are lovely to walk around. Farm is great for children, we loved following the trail and getting our booklet stamped. The whole visit was very interesting, engaging and interactive. Also loved the second hand book stall! Courtyard was great to sit in and lots of picnic areas everywhere. I would suggest you bring food and drink as the cafe though as it very sparse in choice, slow service, and queues were long for coffee.

Lovely seeing the pigs, sheep & horses as well as the donkeys. Great place for children and really clean with animals happy and well cared for.

Our favourite National Trust place. It's always full of fun. Very family and pets friendly. Lots of toilets, baby changes and other useful facilities. Easy access to all the places. Picnic area available.

Wimpole Home Farm
Huge well maintained national trust park and manor. They have a children's friendly farm with picnic areas. The staff are friendly and those who we spoke to were very knowledgeable about the history of the place . Even if you are not interested in the manor the garden and the park are worth taking a walk. You definitely need a whole day.

Loved the atmosphere and thought that the pigs were best. Overall not a great variety of animals but suspect that a lot were out in the fields. I am sure there were more a few years ago. Be aware of 10 minute walk from the car park.

Loved our visit to Wimpole - beautiful house and gardens. Plenty to see & do for families. There is an onsite cafe and gift shop too. Great day out for all ages!
