Holland & Barrett - Manchester Market Street

Wanted to buy a tub of creatine and was asked for ID when I went to pay. I have never been asked for ID when I have previously bought supplements (either online or in person) so didn’t carry it with me. I asked the cashier lady (short, middle aged, curly black hair) why I needed it and she said “it’s challenge 25 policy”, I then asked how old I needed to be to buy creatine and she just repeated “it’s challenge 25 policy” - clearly she was clueless and just being petty as she had no idea what she was talking about, she couldn’t even answer my questions.Maybe this jobsworth was having a bad day at work and wanted to be awkward with her customers. But I think if it’s possible, she needs to use some common sense in the future.

Great products, in this branch I saw a streamer opening packages and pouring the product into their hands to stream and take photos, they then put the products back in their packages and sealed them up.I told staff and they said it was official which is fine but it just looked like nobody cared some strangers were opening packages so felt kind of gross

Really good customer service and they know what banter is.Glad you are trying to keep the price as reasonable as you can due to inflation on goods.Good people at Holland and Barrett - Saint. Annes Square

Had a great customer service experience delivered by Stella!! She saw I was looking for something and helped me find the product in such a nice and funny way. I was in a rush so she said I could keep the receipt and we can add the points to my account next time. She was so nice and will definitely come back and hope she is there then. (was looking for the new LoveRaw wafer bars which are amazing!!)

The level of customer service is awful and seems staff don’t understand the basics . The cashier was a complete pain who didn’t understand what Social distancing was about and became aggressive/ rude when mentioned. Would avoid this store as staff are lacking the knowledge of healthy living / supplements. Boots the chemist and Superdrug will give you much better service and advice for healthy living.

Just wanted to send a big thumbs up for Michal who was the nicest person I've encountered yesterday. My order was delivered to the wrong address and he talked through with customer support, was very patient and finally helped me to get my products.This is how customer support should be like, thank you a let for the great help !

Ordered click and collect. 240 ct of bone health supplements. After collecting and getting home, looked at the bottle. It was for 180 ct. Rang customer service, they said they can't do anything. Had to travel 30 min back to the store. Staff were courteous enough. Received no remediation or assistance from anyone at holland and barretts both on the phone from customer service or store staff. Probably won't buy from here again. 1hour wasted because someone doesn't know the difference between 180 and 240.

Good store, come here often to buy oil and protein powder. Got to the checkout today to buy an item, wasn’t even asked if I wanted a bag even though I came in with nothing to carry the item with. Had to ask for one. Other than that it’s good with reasonable priced items.

Michael was awesome today. I study physiology and have been researching extensively the condition which I asked about (in regards to supplementing for), he pointed out 2 products which they offer and explained why, which all backed up scientifically from my knowledge on the physiology. He also offered the free service available upstairs, for body composition and pulse oximetry (highly recommend to anyone interested).Nicely done H&B!

Ordered online. No shipping updates. When i emailed customer service after a week, they advised the order is still in the warehouse. How can the order be held up when it's only 3 small items which are in stock. Better off shopping in store. H&B really need to up thier game.
