I ordered a Marchand and Mills pattern on Sunday evening. I had an email on Monday saying my order had been received, closely followed by another saying it had been despatched and the pattern arrived on Tuesday. A sweet little note saying that the person packing the pattern loved the skirt!! Fantastic service.

I recently did a day course with Guthrie and Ghani and really enjoyed it. The course space is a lovely light open room with plenty of machines and overlockers to use for the class. The teachers where very helpful and on this course we had the option of 2 patterns to make so the class was informally structured and you could work at your own pace which was great for a no pressure approach.I also visited the shop on my trip - amazing quality fabrics, some are pricier BUT they are higher quality and a good price for what you get. I would happily support this small business, and I hope to get back for another class soon.

Excellent collection of fabrics of all weights, naturals and synthetic fabric, as well as blended versions. Lots of colour and pattern choices in the fabrics. Lots of sewing threads, buttons, and other notions Not a cheap option, for sure, but definitely a high quality option for fabrics.
