The Galley

Lovely food we always stop by where we are staying around here as it is the nicest chippy, defo recommend their burgers. Best phoning ahead and ordering as there is usually a long queue and it can take a while. Cash only.

Called in with the family earlier this evening after our visit to Glenariff. The food was absolutely outstanding. The chips & cod were the star of the show. We will 100% be back. Highly recommend.

Unlike previous visit, chips were over cooked and hard. Fish and Chicken gougons were great. So 50% success rate this time!

Fab, place and lovely staff.Thanks so much for your help tonight,We got home safe and sound and the fish was delicious. Best crispy batter we have had. Totally recommend The Galley. We will definately be back!

Great food but very busy (which is always a good sign)

Unlike our last visit, the food was very disappointing this evening.The battered fish was soggy, like it had been sitting for a while (we asked for well done), and the chips were not hot. We won't be travelling the 35 miles again!

Despite the web site and Facebook and physically saying the doir The galley was open on Wednesday 04 / 10 /23 I drive 12 miles there and 12 miles back only find it was in fact closed. And whilst I parked 2 other people one who had driven from waterfoot were always disappointed to find it close . Really poor and shows how little respect they have for customers they can’t even be bothered to change the opening hours on Fb or their web site . Customers like all business when they are having a good get taken for granted before the organisation realises and fall flat in ut face once the valued customers start to realise and go elsewhere.
