The Beach Cafe
Lovely little cafe by the beach, staff was all friendly and wore face masks, gave us time to order our food. We both went for burgers which was lovely, will definitely be back when visiting the area. Only thing I'd say is they don't pick up rubbish from under the tables when cleaning.

Dog friendly. Kind and attentive staff. The special crab burger and the American (reg menu) came quickly, and they were devoured just as swiftly. Excellent options within meals to allow you to customise your meal (choice of potato with your main or extra salad). Everything tasted homemade. The chips were outstanding: chunky, perfectly crispy outside and fluffy melting middle. Meal for two with drinks came to less than £30. We'll be back.

What a wonderful cafe!So glad we decided to choose here for our brunch on our drive down to Sandown. We managed to get a table sat right near the windows/doors had an amazing view of the seafront, the staff were all so polite and friendly and the food was fantastic.

Car Crash on a plate, ordered fish and chips and sandwiches for a party of 5. Without doubt the worst quality fish and chips I have ever had, it was frozen fish in batter and the cheapest possible. The sandwich again was extremely poor quality and done with no care. The service was with a frown.No idea how this rip off hole in a wall survives or how it has such good reviews, it must be because the standards of your average Isle of Wight tourist are low.

A really great find in a town struggling for decent places to eat. I had the Mussels and they, along with the sauce were plentiful and tasty. Decor was good as was the service. My 5 year old even got a free lolly at the end.

Great cafe. Very clean. Staff were extremely lovely, and the food was delicious. We had 2 lunch & 2 drinks for £25!I also liked that they provided baby powder, hand cream, a changing mat, and nappy bags in the toilet. A great little touch.

Lovely cafe with views over the beach to the pier with a beach vibe. We had a friendly welcome, and were given a choice of tables. We chose the window table for the view. Good choice of food, we opted for fish and chips. I could have done without the salad, don't think it goes, but that's just me. All the food coming out looked good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice clean loo too, combined ladies, gents and disabled with all you need. Nice hot water and an efficient hand drier. Unlike some public looks in Sandown.So all on all a good experience.

This is an excellent beach front cafe (the word cafe" doesn't do it justice). The food and selection available is extremely good and to a very high standard. You can sit in or out on the esplanade to enjoy your food. The staff are so friendly and service is quick. Everything is lovely and fresh and made to order. Check out the "Specials" board. Not to be missed if visiting Sandown"
