Old, quaint and historic feel and a lovely setting for the annual Christmas Tree festival. This involved original contributions from the local community. Good fun and very creative. Added to this were refreshments, raffle, Craft Fair and an elf hunt !Great way to get into the old festive spirit!

Visited the church for a Carol evening a very welcoming church the vicar was very good encouraging the children taking part which made agreat evening

The church was built around 1230 and is the oldest building in the village.Obviously the church has had some rich benefactors as the building is very ornate.The church was open to view mid week.

We attended a lovely wedding in this beautiful church, which is situated in the attractive village of Writtle. The icing on the cake was Tony the vicar.

Beautiful church. Dates back to 1100 I think. The vicar held a wedding. Great day.

Great evening was had by all at the Writtle Scout and Guiding Carol service. Belted out some great carols and there were some excellent readings from all branches of the movement.
