This is on the small lane that leads from the Strand to Embankment station, amidst a lot of Italian restaurants. It's a bright casual place with large paper menus offering Mexican street food much like Wahaca. However portions are bigger and there are some more interesting options. We had Guacamole Artesanal, which was a freshly prepared guacamole with tortilla chips for £11. This was expensive but it did taste all right and there is a bit of theatre - it is made by the table. Two Chicken Tinga quesadillas were excellent value for £7 with just the right amount of cheese and spice. Volcan is a specialty dish with two round tortillas, topped with meat, cheese and vegetables - heaped on like a volcano! It comes with a side dish but I wasn't too impressed by this. The Mezcal margarita (£9) was a very good drink to accompany the meal. Service was excellent and service charge is added on in the bill.

Their classic margarita is delicious! Guacamole is really good and it's prepared at your table. They also have ceviche as a starter which is good but not the best one in London. But still worth a try.

The crab tostada is amazing!! The tacos are great. Quality of the food is good and so tasty. My Mexican colleague says this is the best Mexican restaurant in London.

Great food, very tasty. We ordered a whole range and shared like Mexican tapas. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good drinks. All in all a fantastic experience, especially with the Mexican musicians.

Lovely food very filling - Service a bit slow, but to be fair it was busy - the price of the margarita is ridiculous! For £9 you get a shot of margarita! I’ve tried the mango one and I couldn’t taste anything! - the guacamole is a must! Freshly prepared in from of the table.

We loved our lunch at Lupita! The Chicharron de queso y guacamole is a must, I've never had anything like it. The service was quick and helpful. The food was delicious. We had some salsa too which was nice but spicy. We were warned about it, but we didn't listen! The drinks helped to cool us down. I had a jamaica which was very refreshing.

The best thing they do is their guacamole. They prepare it on a side board next to your table and it tastes amazing. The other food like tacos and quesadillas was fresh but very average. The stuff could have been more attentive. All in all I would definitely just come back for the guacamole.

Great place for Mexican food but bit pricey, but good service for the price.Drinks are nice and relaxing. If you are looking for a table to sit down and enjoy some Mexican food with your date, it’s the place ; not a quite place though. You can get bigger portions of food for the same price in other shops like poncho8 if you are just looking for Mexican food.

Buzzy and fun Mexican food place. Unfortunately the food on the night we were there was disappointing. The vegetarian tostadas were dry with no sauce whatsoever, the chicken enchiladas filled just with dry shredded chicken, and the portions in general very small. After eating a main course each, we ordered additional appetizers because we were still hungry, then went out for coffee and desert someplace else. Overpriced in my opinion.
