Michael and Pearly were amazing when it came to the renovation of our home. They listened to our needs, wants and aspirations for our home and incorporated everything we wanted and were very creative with space saving ideas. Their professional advice was so valuable. They were involved from the beginning to the end, and nothing was to much trouble for them. They were a delight to work with. I would highly recommend their services.

Michael and Pearl have been helping us on a design to convert two houses into one. They have been incredibly patient with us and taken on board all our needs and ideas, but are always prepared to suggest things we’ve not thought about it what they think would work for us. Gruhe Architects worked on a complex scheme for a new development for me. The scheme was challenging due to the configuration of the land. Michael and Pearl were absolutely amazing in being able to suggest creative options for working with the constraints to get a high quality scheme through planning and ready for development. I cannot emphasise how much value they added to the process. Their years of training and in the field experience was evident throughout. They remained professional and tenacious in ensuring every avenue was thoroughly investigated to ensure an optimal outcome. 10/10 and worthy of recommendation.

I met Michael at Grand Designs at the NEC. After speaking to a few architects there, I decided to go with Gruhe Architects. It was the right decision. Both Michael and Pearl have a strong passion for architecture and they delivered on that with an amazing scheme for a former water tower in Newark, for which the design was also praised by the planning committee. I can’t thank them both enough and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

We met Michael of Gruhe Architects in 2019 to discuss the plans for our extension and full renovation of our detached property in Harborne. Michael spent hours with us, listening to our requirements and drafting ideas with us. Michael was very forthcoming with ideas which met our needs but also considered ways to keep costs down. After providing our drawings and supporting us through the planning permission and tender processes, we enlisted Michael to continue to oversee the project as our project manager. We couldn’t have got through the last year without his support. When issues with our builder arose, Michael helped to keep the project moving and went above and beyond to do so, ensuring we only paid for the work that had been completed and overseeing contractual matters. My sister is also entrusting Michael to design their extension and oversee renovations following on from our positive experience with Gruhe Architects. Would highly recommend.

Had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to a lady within the office here. Very unprofessional and unorganised. Would advise avoiding this poor excuse of a company. It appears this “company” is a not a professional outfit. Advise your receptionist has training in telephone manners, with urgency. She is very lucky I didn’t pop in to see her. Very rude!
