My elderly mum drove miles to see a car, which was advertised incorrectly - the salesman said “it was autotrader’s fault”… but this garage is the one that uploaded the details to Autotrader. Total waste of her, unapologetic and unhelpful.

Would not recommend this place at all. The car I bought is trash. I tried to return it 3 days later after the weekend and they wanted me to sell it back to them for £1600 pounds less. The car is faulty hence why the car was discontinued. Not to mention it was advertised as an automatic when it’s not it’s a semi-automatic. I asked for an automatic and when I brought it in I was told to shift the gears manually to fix my problem and that still doesn’t work. I am constantly being honked at because the car has extremely hard shifting and does not accelerate. It breaks through every gear. For the amount I paid for this car to have all these problems. I was ripped off. I chose a dealership because I wanted reliability but I would have been better off buying privately for a FAR cheaper cost.

I booked a service and mot through vauxhall, only to be told when I turn up oh now we are EMG we don't get the bookings from that system". This is very unprofessional

I drove quite some distance to see a car on the EMG, Huntingdon forecourt. It was not as described, missing certain key features that were promised in the advert and another key feature malfunctioning. No apology whatsoever from the salesman and no offer of help. He just got out and walked into the showroom. So rude! Totally personality free, why do people like that go into sales? When car dealerships are two a penny you should vote with your feet and shop elsewhere! Which is exactly what I did, buying another car - less than an hour later and just around the corner.

Avoid. Was recommended this garage from another branch of theirs because they’re ‘specialist’ for Vauxhall. They spent more time than needed to diagnose an issue and then charged me £900 to fix something which then didn’t fix the problem that the car went in for! That along with the fact that talking to them during week and a half period, they were extremely hostile to converse with me and it constantly felt like they were going out of their way and I was an inconvenience to them. I struggle to find someone paying nearly £1k an inconvenience, but that’s just me.

Bought new used car as our existing car had a lot of advisories. Ashley was very helpful with a no pressure approach and would answer all questions relating to purchasing of the car. New car a Zafira Tourer was a dream to drive.10 days after buying the car there was a coolant issue and I had to take it back in for diagnosing and repair. I was thinking the worst that I would have to pay for this! But no, they took the car in fixed it and gave me a very decent courtesy car for the extra duration it was going to take, at no cost to me. Matt in the service department constantly kept me up to date in detail on the repair and even drove the courtesy car to me at my work.Although this issue had occurred, I feel the way EMG Huntingdon sorted it out even exceeding my expectations.I would happily buy another used car from them in the future as they can be trusted and I know they will do there best to make the experience a breeze.Thank you all at EMG Huntingdon
