Ian and Chris are incredibly knowledgable about the automotive industry and mechanics; they are straightforward, professional and honest, but most importantly they think long term, with my best interests at the heart of their advice. They want to ensure the car I purchased will hold it's value in the medium term. They want to be selling it when I get my next car in 3 to 4 years time, so they really believe in the quality of the car they have sold me. Much more cost effective than leasing, or, buying new and all backed up by their significant mechanics business.I can't speak highly enough of their service, I travel down from London to use them.

Chris not only handled the task with exceptional customer service but also managed to successfully complete the job in an impressively short span of time.As a recent resident of Southampton, I encountered an ongoing repair issue with my BMW that had stumped three different garages. Despite their efforts, none of them were able to diagnose and rectify the problem. This journey began with an initial garage visit where I incurred a £150 expense for a new sensor, unfortunately with no positive results. Subsequent visits to two other garages led me to more dead-ends, with one suggesting £1000 expenditure for A/C repair or even the suggestion to consider scrapping my car. This proposal ended up with a heated disagreement and I left without asking about the warranty.The frustration led me to explore solutions online, where I uncovered that there could be as many as nine potential causes for the reduced capacity of my car. The fact that three garages failed to address the issue effectively was extremely disappointing, especially considering their eagerness to deplete my finance.In my state of desperation, I reached out to colleagues for advice, and it was through their recommendation that I learned of Chris at E&J Jarvis. Consequently, I visited their garage, and to my huge relief, my ordeal was brought to an end within two days. What's more, the final cost amounted to £156. The expert installation of the Camshaft sensor was pivotal in resolving the matter, and I have booked my car for full servicing at E&J Jarvis.The restored functionality of my car and I feel a huge relief as I daily commute to work.
