Pros - bed was fine, pillows were ok, the water was hot and the shower was good.Cons- despite the room looking like it had been refurbished recently, the room was still poorly finished. The painting needs redone, the fixtures had pretty much all fallen off the walls, there were no hangers, the toliet brush was broken, the bedside light didn't work, the whole hotel needs(and is) under refurbishment. Wouldn't go back in it's current state.

The Rooms were good but they put no blankets. The Checkout time was too tight. They should put some flexibility on check-out time.

Parking around the back with lots of space.Buy then after that it takes a bit of a turn for the worse, the rooms are in need of renovation, the pictures online are clearly from a few years ago but they domt look like that anymore with mold and damage to the walls. The hall ways smell of weed and the other people staying there are very loud and had banging and crashing doors throughout the evening. The hotel is cheap but not that cheap so I wouldn't stay again

I cannot give any stars to this hell hole that they call a hotel. It is dirty, smelly, damp and something out of a horror movie. The staff are rude and unresponsive, ask to be moved but they said they were full, I cannot see how anyone would want to stay there. I was given an email address to complain and to get a refund but surprise surprise they do not respond. I would'nt even pay £1.00 to stay here, its is absolutely awful. The rooms remind me of the rooms from the Young Ones, but they were probably cleaner than this dive!!

An absolutely awful place is a hostel with homeless people being allowed to use it. Council housing people homeless in there. No food no lighting the rooms are nothing like their advertising online. Smell awful and is no fit for children to stay. DO NOT BOOK. The staff are extremely rude they don’t care about how much you’ve paid. I had to take my daughter out of the place within 30 minutes and find another hotel as she was so upset. It’s like a hotel out of a horror movie. The bed advertised was super king size nothing but an old bog standard small double. The window was full of cigarette butts and there was load music from a party going on outside and the bathroom unsafe with nails sticking out the walls. Went to reception to complain and ask to be moved he said no more rooms then 5 minutes later 2 girls walk in and he sells them a room. Could say a lot more but DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Don’t recommend this place. There is no toilet rolls, one of the light doesn’t work. The room had a awful smell. One of the staff was very rude and unprofessional. The customer service overall is very poor. Please be wise and not choose this hotel. I would like to give 0 stars for this hotel.

Staff at the front desk were very helpful. The halls and rooms are a little dated but it was to be expected. The one thing that ruined it was the two silverfish running across our bathroom floor. Everything else was fine. Location is good, service is good, just the rooms have stained walls, damp smells in the bathrooms and silverfish running rampant.

I wish i could give 0 stars. I paid £80 for one night, so was expecting high standards. However my partner and I were appalled by the state of the hotel. It stank of stale cigarette smoke, and was filthy. There were blood stains on the wall, dead flies everywhere, exposed wires in the bathroom, dented batteries in the tv remote which seemed like a child had been chewing on them. The staff seemed very incompetent. They replaced the batteries with ones that were identical to the battered ones, so we therefore couldn’t watch the tv. My partner also had to instruct them on how to pour a drink from the bar. Will not be returning

Was a bit unsure about how the stay would be based on the reviews but the stay was actually nice. The hotel is in the middle of renovation so not in the best state but the room we had (on first floor) is modern and look pretty much like the photos. A few marks here and there on the walls and floor of the room but nothing major or very noticeable. Room was clean and tidy, nice TV which had Netflix, BBC, etc. apps, and a nice bathroom. The Singh at reception was also very helpful when we called for directions to the car park. Doors aren't soft closing so you do hear some slamming due to others not closing them carefully but it is what it is. Bed was comfy.
