Losing our son at 53 years of age was as you would expect devastating! So to have someone like Matt and his staff on hand to support us and see us through a very difficult time was so comforting! From the first day we walked into Matt’s office until the sad day of the cremation Matt and his staff ware superb. His understanding of the grief we were going through, his comforting manner and his attention to detail made a very sad and challenging time so much easier! Matt very kindly invited myself and some of my nursing colleagues into the funeral home today, for us to get an insight into how they care for families and their loved ones after they pass away. Matt and his colleagues are clearly so respectful, dedicated and person centered. It really was a heartfelt and touching experience to meet them and hear about all the wonderful work that they do. Thankyou so much Matt for taking time out of your day to accommodate us, for making us feel so incredibly welcome and for helping us in our roles to support families who might have questions about what happens next. Two years ago, my nan passed away. Matthew treated her with nothing but respect, kindness and dignity and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Matthew went above and beyond to make sure every last detail was nothing less than perfect and my nan had the beautiful send off that she deserved.Nearly four weeks ago, I lost my baby girl. I didn’t even have to think about who to go to as far as funeral directors are concerned. As soon as I contacted Matthew, he was nothing but supportive and caring and yet again, went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was taken care of and treated with the love and respect she deserves.Matthew is a lovely man with a heart of gold, and with what has been undoubtedly the worst thing I’ve had to go through, he has been an incredible support throughout it all.
