Dough LoCo
It’s a bit of dough for a Dough Loco, but can they be topped? It’s been a minute since we last visited Dough Loco and one night after work, neither of us could be bothered to cook so we decided to give to call up and order. We were starving and we knew collection would be quicker for us as we could travel to the restaurant whilst the food was being cooked and then get straight back home rather than waiting for a driver to find our house. To our surprise, the food was still piping hot when we arrived back home. Finally, it was time to eat.We ordered:The Honey Dough Loco - House Marinara, Fior di latte Mozzarella, Double Pepperoni,Roquito Pearls, Dough LoCo Hot Honey DrizzleMeat The Devil - Dough LoCo House Marinara, Fior di Latte Mozzarella, Red Onion, Chorizo, Spicy Nduja Sausage, Home-Brewed Chilli Oil.We couldn’t pick our favourite pizza because they were both outstanding. The crusts were nice and airy with enough crunch in them to fold each slice ready to eat. The bases were covered in a generous amount of toppings but not overwhelmingly full so that when you go to eat a slice the toppings fall off.Overall, we’re happy with the food that we ordered. The only way the pizzas could have been even better is if they were cooked in a wood-fired oven, but that’s just personal preference. That doesn’t take anything away from what Dough Loco produces. They do damn good pizza. But, and we do think that we need to say this, they’re not cheap. If we compare Dough Loco’s prices to other independent pizzerias in the city, they are the most expensive. Are they worth their premium pricing? That’s a matter of opinion. Their restaurant is in a prime location though, so that will come at a cost. They’re right in the heart of historical Lincoln with a car park right outside their gates, something other venues can’t boast about. We’ve been a fan of Dough Loco ever since they formed, and we’ll continue to support them going forward too. Yeah, they’re on the top end of the scale when it comes to price, but you could always check out their Pizza & Punch night every Wednesday which is only £10 to see what you think.

Table service was terrible.Drinks were near impossible to obtain from the grumpy waitress, who repeatedly forgot the orders. Water on the table wasn’t provided until asked multiple times. Our party had pre-ordered our food, yet meals were forgotten, which was quickly rectified. The make matters worse, the toilets were leaking from the ceiling. All in all the food was okay, but the service let it down greatly. Sadly I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend to friends and family.

Got to be one of the best Pizzas I’ve had to date. Brilliant ingredients from base to toppings, can’t fault the service either, speedy and friendly :)Side note, would be nice to have the drinks menu online just for those that like to prepare what they’d like, however not an issue as you obviously get handed one when you walk in, just me being picky. Thanks for a lovely meal :)

Cosy pizza restaurant near the Castle. Huge selection of pizzas including a kids menu with special offers. Absolutely phenomenal flavours, genuinely impressed by how good it was! Too many to choos from, and good value too. Big selection of beers, wines and spirits. Will definitely be back to try the pizzas we missed! Highly recommended.

The food here is spectacular, my partner said her pizza rivalled the best pizza she's ever had from Italy, staff were brilliant too. Will definitely eat here again if I'm in the area

Lovely place, in a nice part of Lincoln. Pizza was real nice, service friendly. Shame there was no Chips or Wedges. But don't let that deter you, worth a visit.

Ate at Dough LoCo on a Saturday night and the atmosphere did not disappoint. The staff were very polite and good, the only thing I would say is that it is very cramped. We was sat against a wall but then had people squeezing between the side of our table and the back of the chairs from the table to the side of us. Other than that a great night and great food
