Iceland Supermarket Hythe

Been coming here for years. The past few years though the store has really improved. The staff are very friendly and the shop is well stocked and tidy. The manager has done an incredible job.

Extremely dissatisfied. Slot sunday12-2 . Food arrived at 4p.m !Lied to by manager telling me that driver was at the store and second time I called told me she'd rang him an hour before !Got a text just after ringing saying there was a delay . The store is 20 mins from my house , hour later at 4p.m my shopping arrived . Complained to Iceland and recieved 2 emails which looked like they were copied and pasted!Oh and I'm diabetic insulin dependant and needed the food to take my injection !

While i enjoy shopping in the store however since covid it has shown up the lack of floor space.Very narrow aisles you only need one shopper with their trolley and the Isle is blocked. please consider renting or purchasing the former Aldis site around the corner in the central car park this would be a first-class premises for your store to expand and I am sure you would adequately cover your costs it is a popular store in Hythe especially for the elderly and their carers please give consideration to moving to a larger premises then I would have rated it five stars.the much bigger floor space in the old Aldi premises would allow for larger shelves areas to stock them up with much more products that you now have to keep stored away in the store room at the current premises.All too often if I go in in the afternoon the bread and egg shelves are nearly empty by early afternoon. This is because the local cafes who do takeaways buy up the products very early at 8 a.m. luckily they tend to close now so this is not been a problem at present.if you have the bigger premises when the cafes are all open again we will all be able to buy what we need and there will be plenty. Should add the staff are always very helpful and very hard-working. always plenty of stock but as I have indicated needs more space to display them rather than stacking them up high they need to be on shelves not the floors.sorry that's just my health and safety background before retirement.I've seen accidents regularly when a customer pushes past someone and knocks over the displays on the floor.maybe Iceland head Office could send an area manager down to view the store see the narrow isles and go round the corner and view the much larger premises it is only about 3 times bigger it's not huge so you would have plenty of room to display what stock you have.and would certainly make for a more spacious pleasant shopping experience

The wife has been going here for many years but now it’s getting noticeable how well run the shop is. Very clean, well stocked shelves and pleasant staff. Prices are going up a bit but that’s no different from other shops. Happy to keep shopping here.

Nice little supermarket tucked away in the High Street good selection of foods and very well priced

Great service but if you only want to buy one product its very expensive, I don't need three bits all at once.

Wife had rings sized up. Excellent results and reasonable price.

It was well stocked and good prices as we all know from Iceland. Was rather quiet which i like when i go in there. Shame not a staff member offered me any assistance as I was trying to carry a Shopping basket while I was using 2 crutches and was not easy going g at all.The checkout operator never offered to pack my bag so I had to leave my crutches resting against the back of the checkout area and one slipped and fell over. Being a former food retail Duty Manager I would always expect staff too offer assistance. Sadly that was not forthcoming on my visit and previous visits if I'm alone.
