Porto Lounge
I recently visited Porto Lounge in Bristol with a couple of friends, hoping for a relaxing evening and some good drinks. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected, which prompts me to write this review.Upon our arrival, the ambiance seemed promising, but the service we received from the bar staff, particularly one bartender, was incredibly disheartening. This individual displayed an unprofessional attitude that bordered on rudeness. Their manner was curt, and we felt as though our presence was bothersome to them. As customers, we expected basic courtesy, but instead, we were treated with disdain.What made the situation more uncomfortable was the feeling that our treatment might have been influenced by our racial background, as we were the only non-white patrons at the time. This is not an accusation we make lightly, but the distinct difference in demeanor we observed between our interaction and that of other customers was too stark to overlook.We hoped for a warm, inclusive environment but found the atmosphere at Porto Lounge to be unwelcoming. It reached a point where we felt so out of place and disrespected that we decided not to finish our drinks and leave the establishment.I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of their background. Porto Lounge fell short of this basic principle during our visit. It's crucial for any establishment to ensure their staff is trained in customer service and cultural sensitivity, to avoid such incidents that leave a sour taste in patrons' mouths.I would not recommend Porto Lounge to anyone seeking a friendly and welcoming environment. It’s important for potential patrons to be aware that their experience may vary greatly, and unfortunately, ours was one we do not wish to repeat.

First time visiting. Really nice decor and atmosphere. Food good too. Forgot to take picture of mains as I dove head first into it but here's a photo of my dessert! Will definitely be returning.

Quite good all round first impression. Very comparable to the original premises which our daughters treated us as Fathers Day event on previous occasions. Very spacious, clean and friendly atmosphere; price and quality of food- although good, was secondary

Porto Lounge
For my partner and I this was our favourite lunch spot for university. We went at least once a month as it was a short walk away, very accessible and the food is very tasty.I often times ordered the Korean fried chicken burger with added bacon, which was very reasonably priced and very tasty, however the chicken size was very inconsistent and could sometimes not fill the burger bun.My partner would always order the vegetarian breakfast as it was their favourite and they especially loved the fritters. They would often times ask for a poached egg rather than a friend egg which was always accepted.Service is very polite and always talk with a welcoming tone. The atmosphere is always buzzing no matter what time of day and the interior of the place is very decorative and is probably enough reason to go at least once.

Fancied pancakes and bacon, so my 1st thought was Porto, I was not disappointed. As usual I was greeted at the door and asked if I had an dietary needs, I didn't on this occasion and was advised to sit anywhere. As I didn't need to worry about gluten today I thought I'd have a go at ordering from the table. Very easy to do. Everything is easy to find, very clear and user friendly. I chose the triple stack pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, a small diet coke and a hot chocolate. Portion size is just right, although if I was being gluttonous I could have eaten 10 more! The dish was delicious. My hot chocolate was just that, with extra marshmallows! Diet coke is diet coke! As the atmosphere is so relaxed and as I'm sat in the window with the sun on my back I needed a cocktail to take me back on my holiday! As I dont drink alcohol I chose an alcohol free coconut and pineapple punch. I was transported to a white sanded beach with the sun beating down on me on my first sip. It was gorgeous! Porto is one of my favourite places to eat when I'm in fishponds as I am always welcomed, I never feel rushed and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Porto Lounge
The lounge has moved to larger premises on Fishponds Road. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Only negative was I couldn't order and pay from the table using the QR code, but that didn't spoil anything. My hummus was delicious, smooth and full of flavour and the chicken wings had the right amount of sauce and seasoning. The flat bread was good too. Will definitely be returning!

Amazing food, as ever! Love the size and decor of the new restaurant. Highly recommend the veggie breakfast, which is delicious and great value for money. Probably one of the best veggie breakfasts I have had, and I have had a fair few in my time!

The food was really good, all 5 of us enjoyed our meals. Ordering was easy via an app and the venue was nice and clean and had a good vibe. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was the time from ordering to when the food was brought out was around 40 minutes which is quite long. Overall, really enjoyed and will definitely be returning in the future.
