Fox and Sons Estate Agents Southampton

I have delayed writing this review as I’m not one to typically do so. However I am fed up now and feel this is the only resort. The house I bought was listed with Fox and Sons but I bought it through another agency. I phoned Fox and Sons to let them know about the completion of the sale and to get their sales board removed back when I got the keys in may 2022 and was told it would be collected. When I moved in around September it was still outside laying down in my front area. I then called again to have it removed and they said they would get back to me. Fast forward to January and it still was not removed. I called again in January/February to complain about this delay and to request again that their board be removed. I was told a manager would look into the request and the board would be collected ASAP. It is now March 2023 and I have not heard anything back nor has the board been collected. I believe this shows Fox and Sons simply do not care as what else would be the reason for the board to still remain on my property for 10 months.

We had an excellent experience with Fox and Son's mortgage adviser service, particularly with George. His professionalism, friendliness, and proactive updates made the process smooth. George was not only knowledgeable but also tailored his advice to our specific needs, making us feel comfortable. The office staff were accommodating, and the overall service was supportive without being pushy. Highly recommend their personalised and client-focused approach.

My mortgage advisor was Charlotte Head and i couldn't recommend her enough. Purchasing a new build came with a lot of stress and communication troubles between all parties involved but she went above and beyond to make sure i was always up to date with the progress of the build. Charlotte really cares about her clients and made me feel valued from the moment we had our first consultation, she made sure she found me the best deals possible even during the rising costs of mortgage rates and even managed to change my offer mid way through to ensure it was more affordable when the rates seemed like they were going to be too high to afford.Charlotte is an asset to the branch and if anyone ever has the pleasure of working with her, i can promise you will not be disappointed.

I worked with both Abi at the sales departement and Leah in the mortgage departement together and both did an amazing job. I can only recommend them and hope to be buying properties with these guys in the future.All my questions were answered and they always had enough time for me and never rushed. I felt treated like a valuable customer. Thanks guys!

I used George as my mortgage advisor and I couldn’t fault him! Communication was prompt and he was always there to answer the confusing questions of a first time buyer! He chased and stood as a middle person which was really appreciated! I’ll definitely be using George again in 18 months when I need to start reapplying for my mortgage!

My partner and I successfully bought our house and mortgage through Fox and Sons last week. We were recommended their Mortgage Broker George Jones by the sales team when discussing our house preferences.George is AMAZING!!! As 1st time buyers, he first went through the whole buying process and key stages to focus on initially. He explained everything so clearly throughout the process, was available anytime and provided regular updates. He was meticulous in finding us the best mortgage and insurance rates. He listened carefully to our needs and never tried to convince us into spending more. George is extremely professional, honest, trustworthy and very skilled at his job whilst being very approachable and friendly. He really got to know us as a couple and went above and beyond his job role. We would recommend him to all our friends and family and are sure that in 2 years time he will find us the best rates to remortgage. Thank you so so much George and the Fox and Sons sales team for making the stressful process much easier even when things looked like they would crash at the last minute.

The worst Estate agent I have ever faced. After leaving the property they used to send threatening emails to pay the rent though we paid those in advance. We (tenants and landlord) had to call and email at least 20 days to refund our deposit amount. At last our landlord had to visit their office to tell them the same. They made unnecessary delay before move in the rented property and after leaving also significant delay in returning the deposit. Their office staffs mostly will not care to you and definitely will misguide you.

We had ups and downs during the process but with the help of Fox and Sons team, special mention to George Jones (our mortgage advisor) who worked all the way to get this through and patience of waiting. It was a positive outcome in the end. Thank you to everyone who helped us make this happen. We appreciate all your hard work. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this agency. We are happy with the service.
