Okey Dokey Tattoo

Super friendly, clear explanation of what was going on (first time tattoo!). Bright studio as opposed to most which look like you're in a cave. Great final result. Icing on the cake was that the day I visited all proceeds were going to charity! If I decide to get another tattoo this is where I'll go.

Friendly, professional, and clean tattoo shop, with brilliant staff (Ally is an absolute star), and with some phenomenal artists on the team. We met them at the Dublin Tattoo Convention and then visited their two stores when we were in Edinburgh for Halloween.Highly recommended if you're looking for ink while on holiday in Edinburgh, or if you spot Okey Dokey at a tattoo convention like we did!

Talk about a bad experience. First of I waited over a month after my consultation with no back and forth on my tattoo I specifically showed them what I was wanting and I get nothing in any shape or form what I was looking for, I was starting a sleeve and what I got was a big picture and some script instead, I never asked for writing, I arrived on time for my appointment and had to wait on the artist to arrive, keep in mind my appointment was 2pm and they close at 6? I was not paying 500 for 3 hours work, I waited around 45 minutes before he was even ready to start, unprepared, I gladly left as I was unsure of there professionalism, I mean when they quoted you £2000 for a sleeve and act like that then it leaves a bad taste in you’re mouth, I’ve gotten a new tattoo artist who scoffed at the price I was being charged, price wasn’t and isn’t a problem, I’ve got a plan that me and my artist are now working on together, the way it should be, I feel inspired and involved In my tattoo and the guys work is immense, so friendly and welcoming, it’s such a shame I never got to experience okey dokey tattoo as some of there work is out of this world and I have great confidence that my work would have been immaculate but the lack of communication and professionalism let me down, don’t let my comment put you of going to them as honestly some of there work is unreal, I also am not naming the artist as I guess he tried his best but I was lost at the point when the idea I wanted never materialised

Tattoo virgin here. Embarrassingly I had an episode towards the start of my tattoo & they were so good about it, told me to stop apologising. I managed to go through with the whole tattoo & am so happy I did. Diana is a wonderful artist & I am so happy with my tattoo. Thank you. Unfortunately I don't know how to add a picture of my tattoo here.

Wouldn’t recommend going in for a last minute tattoo as a tourist. The shop itself and the people who run it were really lovely. However I have left with a wonky tattoo that has not been infilled properly.

I’ve seen various artists from OkeyDokey over the last few years. Simon, in particular, has done some incredible work for me.The owner Dawide is extremely helpful and the atmosphere in the studio is very positive and welcoming.
