Decided to leave a review after my experience today of useing Sheen Studios today to buy an A3 photo frame. The owner was about to have lunch but stayed open so I could make my purchase. Very greatful.I have personally used this shop many times over the years. Both for professional framing of certificates, as well as buying frames for general photos. Their professional framing service is amazing and they still hang on my wall to this day looking as good as new after many years.I have always had friendly service from the shop. They have been in Staple Hill many years. A real asset to the high street.

Have had many pictures framed at Sheen Studios, and must say the owner does a fantastic job. His knowledge on what sort of frame and also what glass to use for your requirements is first class. Truly recommend Sheen Studios for any framing work.

I'm giving 3 stars because the work itself was done very well, although I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. I went for the cheapest option and was charged £40 for a small painting to be framed, which I found to be rather expensive. After leaving the painting in on the 31st October, I was told it would take 3 weeks, yet the job wasn't completed until the 23rd December! Also, I found the owner to be rather rude when I rang to chase it up.

Professional, friendly service from Mike.He guided me on frames for a special picture for a 70th birthday. It's absolutely fabulous.Thank-you Mike.

I thought I would support my local economy by using this picture framing service. It was an original piece of art and portrait of my daughter so very important to me.I was informed that it would take 3 weeks…. 4 at the most due to supplier issues. After 4 weeks I rang the shop to enquire whether my picture was ready. The owner responded very abruptly bordering on rude and told me in no uncertain terms that he would ring me when it’s ready. I was very surprised by his customer service. He said it would be ready by early next week. I went into the shop later in the week and he pointed to a pile of wood that needed to be made into frames. We managed to negotiate a date for completion but it was not without a rather agitated annoyed attitude from the owner.Suggestions by us that we may ask for our money back unless he delivers by a certain date were met with hostility.Finally he framed the picture and actually did it very satisfactorily…… but his customer service was shocking.

One star is frankly generous. Asked if he could repair my watch and told it would be a week, £10 and he would call me. 4 months later still nothing, so went back today to get it. Claimed he would call this afternoon. He didn't so went back again and demanded it back. He said it couldn't be repaired. I walked 50 yards down the high street to the jewellers. Less than 4 mins and 6 quid later and good as new. Terrible liar, disgusting customer service and immensely disappointed. Avoid at all costs!!!!!Update: Using my telephone number which he had for 4 months and did not call me on, he called me after I left this review and left a voicemail demanding that I change the review to a more positive one! The cheek!!

We had a number of things framed here recently ranging from a print that just needed new glass in the frame to a cross stitch sampler that is a family heirloom. Terry was extremely helpful in spending time with us to select the best frames and backings for our items, and also let us know about less expensive options for things rather than trying to push anything on us. When we received our items, we were very happy with the work, and Terry even restored the sampler without any extra charge. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was very friendly. Nice family business that we will definitely use again.

Sadly we waited for some framing for around a year. COVID delays" with supplier of course was the reason for delay without an apology. So we went to re-collect our prints but it took four visits and several months for them to be found "out back".I'm afraid we won't be using again."

Was told four weeks which is a lot but for 3 prints I thought ok,paid in full upfront and still waiting nearly six weeks later just fobbed of when phoning hope to get my prints Monday 9sept when placed order and left prints on 4Aug definitely won't be going bk
