Lovely place and not crowded one the street. Variety of drinks and good selection of food. Very cozy. Upstairs looks even cozier.

Nice ambience, busy but managed to get a dirty table. Only card payments accepted. No toilet roll in the men's loo. Ladies not especially clean.Had no red wine so had 2 Mojitas, but wouldn't recommend.Didn't stay long

Really cool spot very central in York, we had been to a few bars and pubs this evening and it was one of the better spots but not the best!It was very well decorated but didn't have an atmosphere but is nonetheless a really nice spot to stop grab and drink and have a long conversation

My fave place in York! For a non vegan pub they’ve smashed it with their vegan options, pizza, garlic bread with vegan cheese, nachos and my partner got dirty fries! They have the cider I drink on Tap (Rekorderling) and the cost of everything is very good! Absolutely amazing

Great place for food and drinks. Lots of vegan options and very well done, especially considering it's not a vegan pub. Draught selection is excellent with a good variety of beer and cider, definitely recommended.Edit 13/09/2023Fossgate tap has turned into our whole reason for going to York at this point. York is great, but having a great place to get away from the massive crowds, have a drink, and eat some amazing vegan food makes it significantly better. Plus the newer additions like the vegan zeafood tacos are some of the best in the UK.

Great drink selection. Trendy setting, only downside was service. Staff seemed to not take an interest at times. As someone who works in hospitality I understand how shifts can be but this did damper our experience here.

Great little pub with three floors and lots of cozy nooks. They have a varied menu with lots of vegan options and delicious cocktails
