Requested quote for Hallmark aluminium door. Price agreed, contract signed & deposit paid. 4 weeks later as door was due to be fitted shortly, the company said that the price was hundreds of pounds more than they expected and they did not want to complete the contract. Deposit was refunded. Hours & hours of my time wasted.

They gave me a price and then a few days before installation bumped it up by a considerable amount. I declined. This seems to be a pattern. So it is eiither careless pricing or a deliberate attempt to defraud. You decide, but keep well clear
