I have stayed in this hotel many times before and always thought it a great place but I was in complete shock when my friend who has a speech impediment was judged due to his speech impediment that they would not be given the room as the lady ( assumed) he had taking alcohol. He was immediately cut off and the phone abruptly hung up him. Never judge a book by its cover … I thought the manner of the lady was disgusting and over the top . There’s ways and means to address things and the way she addressed my friend due to a speech impediment and judged I find and found horrific.

A very welcoming and pleasant place to stay. They do have a bar and disco on a Saturday night but it does end about midnight, if you are staying on a Saturday you may be better off joining the party as the noise in the rooms is loud. Basic rooms exceptionally tidy could do with a bit of modernising. I would stay here again, very friendly staff, nice food and a good location.

After reading the Belfast Telegraph food critic Joris Minne glowing review of this hotels food and service we decided to have a family meal there. Either Mr Minne was given a one off special meal or a big back hander either way the food was terrible and service was non existent to the point we had to clear our table of the last customers drinks glasses and rubbish. The person at the reception desk who I was later told was one of the owners had the personality of a Pit Bull and just about as helpful in short this is not a hotel I would recommend.

No USB, and very few electrical plugs. Other than that, a passable room. The staff however was terrific!

Stayed here for one night on 10 November 2023 . Very outdated hotel Would not stay here again . Noise from passing traffic through the night. Sweeper went through at 4.35 . Impossible to sleep.

A family run hotel. Big rooms, warm easy free parking right in the heart of Armagh. It's a friendly hotel the free entertainment was brilliant on the Saturday night. Will say it's due bit of a make over! but it's clean, warm relaxing, the staff you can see enjoy the job, very plesent helpful young staff. The food was lovely not overly priced. Will definitely be back soon, the atmosphere was relaxed. Suport this family run hotel they are providing a brilliant service to the people far and wide.

The hotel is decent to stay in although it smells quite bad in the corridors. Our problem staying here was that the service was so bad. I asked for scissors and they started laughing at me saying that they didn’t have any after that when we came back to the hotel at around 23:00 the woman in reception didn’t believe we were staying at the hotel and asked for our room number which we gave to her only to come up to our room (a few flights of stairs as the elevator doesn’t work) and she had deactivated our room card??? We didn’t really understand their behavior and felt so un welcomed.. the employees in this hotel have serious attitude and just make you feel so unwelcome.
