The Walnut Tree
Really nice village pub offering really good pub grub and drinks. Had the walnut tree burger and it was mouth watering. Highly recommended A++

The roast turkey dinner was nice, and the family-style veggies were plentiful and tasty. However, we were pretty disappointed with my father-in-law's butcher's pie. It seemed store bought and not fresh made in-house. The starter hummus was pretty bland. Also, they should rethink the Christmas tree decorations on the tables. We went home absolutely covered in glitter.

Lovely food and great service! Will be back… what’s happened??????:) we popped there today. Lady behind bar was loud and rude- we didn’t feel welcome at all. We were there at 130 and they seemed annoyed we wanted food. We won’t be back. Worlington hall was amazing. Was absolutely gutted

Our group of 14 had such a pleasant experience at the Walnut Tree earlier this month! The food is **always** tasty, the service is super warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. It was my second time to host a group for brunch and I always receive compliments from event attendees for choosing such a lovely place. I appreciate that the ladies who work here are so accommodating of us and so efficient when taking orders! Love their style! This is my go-to place for private events.. (shh, don’t tell) and I booked with them again for another event. It’ll surely be nothing short of delightful!

Great pub located near Mildenhall, fantastic pub grub and fresh draft beer! Staff are really friendly and polite offering great service. Food is fantastic they really care about the food and also it’s very reasonably priced, Sunday Roast is fantastic always coming back great pub! Nice to see also some items can be made vegan upon request to suit others

I've only been there twice so far, but it's one of my favorite local spots at this point. I've never had any food that was less than stellar here, the atmosphere is delightful, and there's plenty of seating. Definitely will continue to go back!

Great experience. 3 people, different meals, different taste, all left satisfied. I had the pot roast with vegetables and gravy with a flakiest puff pastry ever on top. It was phenomenal! Then for desert I had the messy one, with Berry compote, meringue and whipped cream. Both had wonderful flavors that complemented each other.

The food is unbelievably salty. Our choice, the Walnut breakfast, was so overwhelmingly salty that we couldn't even finish it. The saltiness became so severe that it caused me to develop a headache. However, what truly infuriated me was the staff's dismissive response when we brought it to their attention. There were no apologies or attempts to improve the dish whatsoever, they simply shrugged it off, suggesting that we should accept it or leave it. It was as if our feedback as paying customers who rely on their food didn't hold any value. Despite barely touching our plates, we paid the full price and left. Dining here is a gamble, but we will never set foot in this place again.
