Crossrail Place Roof Garden
Hidden rooftop garden in Canary Wharf. Worth it if you’re into plants and garden. Information board is quite educative as well

Crossrail Roof garden is a very pleasant place to visit. It has a very beautiful garden with a variety of plants.A few key points:1. It is free of cost and doesn't need a booking.2. Spend some time in the garden and enjoy the environment. Don't rush.3. You will find directions from Canary Wharf Station to the crossrail roof garden.

Great place to walk around and relax. At times I forgot I was still indoors. Lots of different types of trees with a bit information around too to give context on the their origins.Lovely space to sit and have lunch too.

Crossrail Place Roof Garden
Lovely (and free) place to visit if in the area. Great to see a range of trees and shrubbery within a city and there are interesting information boards about some of the plant species.Plenty of benches to sit and relax and great for children - there weren’t many flowers or low-down leafy plants for them to grab (and no exotic poisonous plants or cacti!). Some bypassers were comparing it to their visit to Kew Gardens - this is a very different experience and purpose to Kew Gardens or any other botanical garden (particularly as this is a free public garden). It would have been improved had there been individual little placards identifying each plant or tree, and would have been nice to read about the biodiversity or how it helps bees and insects. It is relaxing and very pretty, but also small.

The roof garden is located near the prime meridian line that marks the boundary of the Eastern and Western hemispheres. The garden takes inspiration from this by having plants from both hemispheres, in two separate zones. Most of the garden is covered, but there are a few sections which are open to the elements. When I visited at 08:30 it was very quiet, though I suspect it gets busier during lunch hours when all the nearby office workers are looking for a peaceful lunch spot.

Lovely place to hangout. One of the most remarkable aspects of this garden is its ability to transport you to a different world. Whether you visit to relax, take a leisurely stroll, or simply enjoy the greenery, you'll find it to be a rejuvenating experience.

It’s on the top floor of crossrail place, right above Elizabeth Line. The plants here are beautiful and majestic. You’ll find lots of tropical or sub tropical plantations here. The garden is very well maintained, clean and organised. I see staff working here tidying up often. It’s a very safe area for kids to play around. It is nice to grab a coffee and a book to just chill here.

What a hidden treasure of a place!? Peaceful, tranquil and the air of a forest in such a metropolitan built up part of the city. Truly unique!Pop in and take a stroll for free when you're in east London or at Canary Wharf, as the plants and environment are really captivating.A tribute to what people are capable of when they love and cherish nature....elevating it and enshrining it on a pedestal it deserves.
