Never in my life have I been to a store with such rude staff. They make you feel like you’re a massive inconvenience. My daughter is a newly diagnosed diabetic and I found it a bit daunting when picking up her big prescription. They had hardly any of the items and I was told to come back the next day, the day arrived and I was told to come back in half an hour. Half an hour later I came back and the woman that served me twice previously didn’t say a word. Just looked away and went to get my items….still some were missing. I get they’re busy/fed up, but when you work in customer service, you have to make an effort. This place is just ridiculous!!

the most horrid chemist in reading. they are rude, they had my medication, and said they did not. they made me walk 1 mile to another, whitch was not there. they mad me call the doctor again. in the cold outside. it was there all the time. 2 hours of freezing cold , it's not what you need when your not well at all. I pray that I don't ever have to visit that chemist ever again. if I could , I would not even give a 0

Got my covid booster here and would give it 0 stars if I could. I was slightly late for my appointment due to an unforeseen traffic jam. I tried to call twice to let them know and the phone rang out both times. I turned up and there were two people sat down and a volunteer in high vis next to the counter. They ignored me at first and were just sat having a chat. I went up to them and said that I was there for my covid jab and apologised for being late. They said that’s fine, pointed to a curtain and said go in there. I sat down on a seat next to the person who, I assumed at this point, would be administering my vaccine. A short lady wearing glasses with dark hair. The booth was incredibly cramped, with lots of boxes stacked under the desk and a full bin of rubbish. The person started typing on the computer and didn’t even say anything to me for at least two minutes as she logged in. The log in information was displayed clearly on the wall which I’m sure isn’t legal as they were accessing my personal medical information. She rudely asked me ‘name’, ‘date of birth’ questions without even giving me a glance. She then demanded to know why I was getting the booster early. I don’t know if this is a question that’s mandatory, but considering it was a very personal and confidential question, she did not ask it in an appropriately sensitive way. She then proceeded to open up the vaccine and putting it in the needle. She didn’t tell me what vaccine I was getting. Approaching my right side, she ordered me to pull up my sleeve and then injected me without asking if I was ready. In my experience, I have always been asked what arm is my dominant so they can do it in the opposite arm. I then asked if I needed to wait afterwards. She said no you can go so I left. On the way out I was handed a piece of paper with the vaccine batch code on. It was an awful experience all round. I can’t believe the NHS use this place as a vaccine centre. It felt dirty and I felt I was a nuisance more than anything. The worst vaccine experience I have had and I have had three other covid vaccinations.

Booked my 16 year old for Covid 19 vaccination through NHS. Tried to call but not picked up. Turns out they don't do 1st vacinne and also not fit under 18's. Total waste of time.

I have used this chemist for years, I find the staff friendly, but working under a seemingly disorganised system. It seems medication ordered via the NHS app is only made u when you go to collect it. After a 12 minute wait I had to leave my asthma medication . I will try another pharmacy in future.

I have posted a negative review about 1,5 year ago, since then I have to say a lot of things improved. Since last few months (when the staff changed) the service at this pharmacy has improved massively. The people behind the counter are welcoming and polite, my repeat prescriptions are always there after I order them, the queue goes quick.Well done, thank you for your hard work and service

A very well organised programme of giving COVID jab to the public who had already booked an appointment. The queue host was polite and knowledgeable and the team of staff who administered the vaccines were fast and helpful.

If I could give no stars I would. Witnessed a extremely rude later behind a screen called Jenny speak loudly about another customer refusing to assist her and then proceed to shout and raise her voice at the customer again. The other customer had a normal request but was shocked at such a horrible response. If you don’t like speaking to customers maybe Jenny shouldn’t work in a customer facing role. The pharmacy was not busy me there really is no justification for speaking rude to other people. No one knows what’s going on in others life so just a bit of politeness goes a long way. Surprised how such an awful place can get away with operating, maybe Jennys manager should have a word with her!

An Absolutely terrible experience. And unfortunately, many times tested as it is only one of two pharmacies in the area. They are clearly relying on that fact and not even trying to be helpful. The customer service is non-existent. The politeness and common sense of their staff is completely abysmal. You have to queue for a long time and on the top of it, have to manage the always grumpy and inefficient member of staff at the end of the line. We have stopped going and make sure we share our bad experience with locals too ( although most of them already know!) .

Very hit and miss sometimes straight in and out other times they can't find things . The staff are friendly and polite but they probably are so busy at times that things go astray but i never did get my tablets even though i had to go back to my doctors and prove with a code they sent the prescription then they gave me tablets that were outstanding not the ones that i was wanting .fiasco bt hey generally not too bad
