We received 4 quotes from different builders before choosing Dede for our kitchen refit. We went with Dede because he was the most honest with his quote and he obviously had a lot of experience in doing big or complex jobs. Ours was particularly complicated because we had a separate company fitting the kitchen and the wooden floors, however we used Dede and his team to rip out our old kitchen and prep the walls, ceiling, electrics, plumbing and block a wall. The team re-did everything for us - we ended up having our ceiling replaced and electrics all re-wired. Dede was so organised with his team and he was there everyday checking on their work. They were quick, tidy and professional. In the end we have been so pleased with their work that we would gladly bring him back to do our loft when we are ready as well as any other jobs. It is so rare to find a trustworthy, reliable and good builder. Not someone I am willing to share too widely, however, I suppose he deserves to get 5 stars on Google ;)Thank you!

I really enjoyed working with Dede and his team. They laid new wood flooring for us (which looks great) and sorted out an area of damp.I really appreciated the time Dede took to advise us. He steered us away from doing things that would have cost an awful lot of money and probably wasn’t worth doing! A year ago DPA completed our loft conversion and remodelled an existing bathroom. We are delighted with both and continue to enjoy them.DPA were very professional in all our dealings with them. Their commitment to the project was impressive at every stage, with the quality of the work being superb. I would describe our experience of them as - polite, friendly, trustworthy, thorough, efficient, neat and tidy, and very accommodating.All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with them and we are delighted with the quality of their work. Deda and his team did a full house renovation for us with an extremely high standard. As he is a very experienced builder he gave us so many great ideas always inform us about how the work going on. All the processes went very easy and smoothly for us. Everything was on time and perfectly done as he promised.Work with him was a dream stress free and very good experience. Dede completed our loft conversion a year and a half years ago. It was a pleasure to work with him and his team and we were so delighted with the end result we have had them back to replace the garage roof and pave our driveway. Neighbours who have seen the work have also used DPA, and had just as good experiences with their projects. Great with suggestions and advice and attention to detail, second to none, we would highly recommend Dede and DPA.

I've dealt with a few builders in my time, and Dede has been by far the most pleasant experience I've had. Dede is a problem solver, cares about the standard of his work and above all is highly trustworthy.Like a clock, his team turned up at 8 am every single day of the project and were flexible to our needs.I can't recommend Dede highly enough and we'll be using him as often as possible for any future work.

Dede has just finished our kitchen / diner extension with a new patio and we are delighted. Dede was recommended to us by a friend and we visited 2 of his previous jobs at different stages to see the progression. We were impressed by the super professional finish and the feedback from the homeowners.Dede is a problem solver. In our case he suggested a change in the location of our utility room which offered better use of space than the architect had drawn. This change has given us a more spacious living area and a compact utility room including a toilet and hand basin. It was a brilliant suggestion.We wanted to add bespoke glass doors and a power flyscreen to our extension but the time frame required for these elements was longer than Dede's build time so he re-arranged some of the work to accommodate these aspects. We were so grateful that Dede came up with solutions that meant we could install these unique aspects of the build and didn't have to compromise.Dede is on site every day of the build doing much of the work himself alongside a small team of reliable, professional tradesmen and labourers. Dede's team cleaned the site at the end of each day. Our immediate neighbours were very impressed with what they saw and some others in the local area have contacted Dede for quotes.The quality of Dede's work was further evident when other professionals were brought in to install specific elements of our project, the aforementioned glass doors and power screen. Dede's discussions with these professionals was detailed and technical. His understanding of what was required for preparation was reassuring and impressive, given that Dede had not worked with these products before. The professionals themselves were clearly impressed with Dede's careful preparations. In one instance he even pointed out one potential issue which they hadn't even considered.The best thing of all is that Dede is a thoroughly lovely man to work with. He is calm, professional and a perfectionist. He listened, made suggestions and worked tirelessly to get things just right. Dede's quote was accurate and the only additional costs were things we asked to be added. He finished the project on time. We absolutely recommend Dede for your building project - you will not be disappointed.

Deda and team did a brilliant job on our kitchen and hall remodeling and we don't hesitate to recommend him. We chose Deda after getting a few quotes and couldn't be happier. The quality of the work completed, and his desire to overcome the issues that come with a Victorian property without compromising the end result was top notch. Deda was responsible for all aspects - electrics, plumbing, plastering etc and all work was done to a high standard, with a professional approach. We have recommended him to others, and will be sure to use Deda again!

Dede and his team did an exceptional job on our extension, I can’t recommend DPA highly enough. The workmanship on our build is of the very highest quality - Dede is a perfectionist and it shows in the finished product, we couldn’t be happier. His work ethic is brilliant - he and his team grafted to ensure our project was completed by our baby’s due date, and they were exceptionally neat and tidy. Dede was on site each day and the communication was excellent- we felt reassured and consulted throughout. Dede takes huge pride in his work, is a true professional and I recommend him to anyone!

We highly recommend Deda and DPA Home Renovations. Deda completed a loft extension, kitchen / utility extension, garden decking and internal decorating work for us in summer 2021.A friend had recommended Deda to us and we received a few quotes. Deda’s quote was very detailed and we got on very well with him from the start. Deda is very knowledgeable and helpful and willing to give us advice or useful recommendations which was great as this was the first time we had undertaken a project like this. We actually wish we had spoken to him before we had drawn up architect plans / submitted planning permission for the work as he had some ideas that were good but we had already been through that process.Deda and his team are incredibly friendly and professional - arrive on time every day, work hard and quickly, are very quiet and respectful of neighbours and are very tidy - we received compliments from neighbours about how good they were. We did move out whilst the work was done as was going to last 5 months and we have very young children and Deda helped us with lots of the logistics of the project including ordering / collecting / signing for many of the things we needed and was available to help with extra bits and pieces. He does the work himself at the same time he oversees his team. We kept in constant contact throughout the work either via a WhatsApp group or meeting up at the property. We sent Deda many questions, messages and pictures but he was always friendly and helpful and informative. Deda also made sure he always ran things past us to make sure we were happy with everything.We are delighted with the quality of the finish of the work. All the work was completed within the original agreed timeline and budget. The only changes were ones that we had asked for as the project went on. There was almost nothing that we asked for that seemed to cause a problem for Deda - he was happy to accommodate us in any way he can. We had high standards of what we expected and Deda met these and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and what he does for his customers, wanting the best finish as possible. Deda is very relaxed about helping us with other little pieces / amends / installations / advice, even after the building work was long finished. We have made a friend as well as a great professional from this work and Deda will be our first choice for anything else, small or big, that we want to do in the future.
