Very helpful staff , Norman at the Southport branch was brilliant.

The worst retail experience my life. The owner Nathan isn’t the slightest bit interested in you once he has your money. I will never return. Exceptionally poor service & poor uplift carpet that was also fitted badly.

This is the second carpet we have had fitted for a different room, the first carpet fitting was fine with no issues.This time however, the fitters ripped my wallpaper and left the cardboard roll and plastic packaging, just slung up my shared driveway! When I reported this I was told the manager would call me the next day, he tried once and I missed the call, I rang back and he had left the shop, I asked if they would just send someone to collect the rubbish, I was told that would be arranged. 2 weeks later I am still waiting! I am in all day with a young baby so not like I’ve missed them turning up, they just haven’t bothered! I now have to go to the tip when I can find the time! As for the wallpaper, it was being changed anyway but that is not the point! The carpet itself also has a sticky residue on it and is nowhere near the quality of the first carpet we purchased! I won’t recommend or use this company for the remainder of the house again!

Love my new bed! Big thank you to Ian, and especially Norman for all the help & advice. Excellent delivery service by two nice young men, and so convenient to have the old bed taken away at the same time.

Lack of greeting customers, show no interest in customer needs, shocking service, bad attitude, my advice stay clear.

Excellent service from United Carpets. Brian was so helpful & supportive towards my parents and demonstrated a great understanding of their needs. He knows his stuff and he didn't set out to fleece them, which in this day & age, believe me, is refreshing.The whole experience from purchasing to having their carpet fitted, was positive and the carpet looks fabulous.Thanks United Carpets Southport!

AVOID!!The carpet we bought started to flatten just in 2 month after it was fitted.Contacted Nathan about the problem...he seemed like he wants to help but he never called me back when he promised I had to chase him up.I reported the fault in May then someone came to inspect the carpet in August.Nathan said he will contact me when the result is back but obviosly I had to emai to him didn't get any answer,phoned in he said he posted it to my address (I didn't get his post).The test came back fine he said but as a customer I am not satisfy with the quality the carpet is more like a floor....He promised me in November he will sort it out and send an independent carpet inspector...it's March and he still not contacted...we paid £1700 and the carpet didn't last a year...absolutely fuming...

I have bought loads of carpets from here. Staff are great and very reasonable prices.
