Beautiful gardens. Difficult for wheel chair users because the nature of the terrain but still relaxing to walk around. Restaurant gets pretty much filled up by 12.30 pm even out of season times and days. We visited on Wednesday.

Campton Acres is a truly beautiful place to spend a day with your loved ones. It's not overly crowded, offering a serene atmosphere to enjoy the stunning views. It's definitely worth visiting if you happen to be in the area

Very much enjoyed the walk around the gardens. Lots of variety. Worth visiting all times of the year to see the seasonal changes. Sculpture exhibition was great and we purchased a number from the shop. Check them out they are great.

Compton Acres
Compton Acres offers a delightful experience for visitors. The café serves incredibly tasty scones and has a prime location overlooking the Italian Villa patio. You enter the private gardens, through a local shop with a nice selection of artisan made pieces. The lovely lady at the desk will sell the tickets and gives you a map. Since 1920, these vibrant and colorful gardens have provided a captivating and enjoyable stroll. We spent over one hour immersing in the beauty of Compton Acres. It's a must-visit destination. My favourite part, of course the Roman garden.

Superb woodland garden with beautiful formal displays, natural glades, winding paths and spectacular water features.

A lovely garden to visit and reasonably priced. Despite it being over a relatively small area they have packed a lot in, but it doesn't feel small. Pathway around is suitable for those with mobility limitations or those who use a wheelchair. The highlight for me are the Italian and Japanese gardens. Lots of interesting statues/sculptures dotted around the place. Café was disappointing and quite expensive. Just get a hot or cold drink. The scone I had was very dry and it crumbled easily!
