Midlothian Dog Grooming

Love taking our pups there. It's like a doggy day care. The pups all walk around interacting with each other, we never pick up a stressed pup. Sometimes they don't even notice that you've come back for them straight away they're having such fun.

Wasn't happy with my dogs cut. They cut off the tuft on top of her head when I asked them not to cut it at all. Cut to my dogs paw which wasn't mentioned at collection. It was bloody and weeping. Poor communication. Apparently they tried to contact me when my dog was ready but firstly had no signal then my contact number was wrong! However, I had contacted them during the time my dog was with them, which they received, and I completed an information card including my contact number when I dropped my dog off. I turned up as I had had no communication from them and apparently my dog had been ready for over an hour but they made no other attempt to let me know. My dog is 12 and can be anxious. Have since emailed them with my concerns and have not received a reply. Would not recommend.Edit: I found my review to be fair and a matter of fact. Your response, however, is very unprofessional and misleading as to what actually happened. To prevent a public review, a response to my very lengthy email would have been sufficient but funny how it takes a public review to actually get a response. Do you have something to hide ? Because blocking me from your page on Facebook looks that way!

Fantastic. Luna loves her visit to the groomers as she knows they'll always take care of her. She leaves with a little puppy smile on her face. It's a daunting experience dropping off your new puppy that first time but know they're in capable hands.Feels like there is always a personal touch when dropping your dog off where they take the time in getting to know both you and your dog, and as hard as it may be remember you each time you visit!Would highly recommend this place for taking both your puppy or adult dogs.

Bruno's first-ever grooming was absolutely wonderful experience. His style is so lovely, the welcome and the vibe is excellent. I highly recommend them.

Both my Cockapoo and St Bernard get groomed here and we absolutely love the service! They both come back looking and smelling great. Our Cockapoo can be a bit anxious, but Leanne has always taken her time with him and he's never felt more comfortable going into a groomers. They are also great at accomodating our St Bernard and her big size. Would definitely recommend for any dog owner looking for a great dog groomer!

Great service from the team here. My dog is well looked after and comes out looking so smart. People have commented on how good a hair cut he has had. Lovely people who go above and beyond.

We moved to Penicuik in autumn and were worried about finding a good dog groomer for our two lhasa apsos. Well, worries are absolutely over, Leanne has done a fantastic job every time Taco and Biscuit have visited her. Biscuit loves her so much he’s not even happy to see us when we pick them up! We are very lucky to have found Midlothian Dog Grooming, amazing service and wonderful people.
