Here on holiday from New Zealand and I had the whitebait and the fresh fish and it was amazing! Some of the best fish I have ever had. The staff are so amazing and friendly. It is a must go if you are in the area

Don't think I'll visit again. Last couple of times I've been, the chips have been under cooked. It's not cheap so you expect a certain standard really.

Called in yesterday for a breakfast. Staff were straight over. Had a small breakfast and it was beautiful. Don’t normally eat fried bread but it was so nice. Well done young lady that was cooking. Been going kooks since it opened. That says it all ! Thanks Andy & staff

I normally really enjoy the food from Captain Kooks. But when my order arrived this evening, the food was cold, the chips were soggy and salt and vinegar had been added. I had only asked for salt. Quite disappointed this time around. Hopefully next time will be better.
