Am very happy with the service and level of attention given by The Village Bicycle/David, and will use again without hesitation.Collected my bike the day after calling him and delivered it back to me as/when advised.Talked me through all the work done and gave me advice/chatted about the bike on its return.I was also very happy for the pricing of the job and the attention he so obviously gave it.Thoroughly deserving of a 5 star score and am delighted to have found someone local that I will now trust to look after my bike.

Loved that the bikes were picked up, serviced & returned. David made my 20 year old bike that had sat unused in the garage for several years look like new..but much more importantly it was safe to ride again. It was brilliant to be able to use them again. Comms very responsive and a fair price charged..recommended!

I can thoroughly recommend David and ‘The Village Bicycle’.I recently acquired two old bikes and both needed a considerable amount of work and professional expertise to make them safe and roadworthy.David collected the bikes from me, immediately understood what I needed and suggested a suitably priced repair programme for them. During the repair process he advised me with clear options and prices for problems he discovered.He then returned the bikes to me in ‘record time’, the total prices was very reasonable and fair.As I have said highly recommended and I will definitely use him again.

Brilliant service. Responded very quickly to my messages, collected the bike and serviced it the same day, then delivered it back. Was very honestly about what he had and had not done and how it would impact the bike. So pleased that the bike is working again after 10 years in the garage! Very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and use in future.

Had my bikes bb serviced wheels trued and a new chainring and chain fitted. The bike was collected by David and the all the work was done quickly and perfectly, only a couple of days with no bike and the price was very reasonable. So if you need any work done on your ride give the village bicycle a shout. quick and friendly service by David I'll use again.

I contacted David with an enquire for a brake repair on a pram. David was fantastic from the start & has a real knowledge of his skills. He visited, looked at the pram & was able to diagnose the problem & even help source the right parts. David fixed the issue & was professional throughout. I couldn't recommend a better engineer & business!

Truly exceptional service with a great price and very quick speed too.My rear break was not working. After a really short chat with Dave he arranged to collect the bike, repair it and return within 48hours!I am delighted, know where I will be going in the future and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone else too.Thank you

David has worked on two of my bikes now, the first being my mountain bike which he collected, fixed and returned in the same evening and then some short notice emergency repairs on my bike at home (COVID compliant of course). Reliable, good value and quick service to a high standard. I would highly recommend Village Bicycle

Very impressed with the quality of the work done on my fully carbon road bike. Super quick turn around on the bike. By far the best quote for the work compared to three shops locally. Will certainly be using David again for any future bike maintenance and repairs.
