Ullapool Youth Hostel
Stayed here while at music camp and the music camp rented out the whole place for us. A couple of the rooms had six beds crammed in to a tiny space and little to no storage but most of the rooms had storage and space. Beautiful view onto the bay and hills around Ullapool. Good and well serviced eating and relaxing areas so even if there isn't really any space in your room you can go chill in the common areas. More than enough showers and bathrooms. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Shared a room with a loud snoring guy and a Chinese student with a loud phone. There was no air circulation, so room was very stuffy. The student was receiving text messages and calls all night.Fortunately, my van wasn't far away, so I ended up sleeping in it instead.Staff are great, the hostel as a building is ok. But, it's a shame there are inconsiderate people making the hostelling experience a nightmare.There are no staff on duty during the night, so any problems - it's tough.I was able to use the laundry, which was good. The showers are new and v hot.

Enjoyed my stay for one night at the hostel. The staff were very helpful with my questions as I'd never stayed at one before.They had a locked bike storage area which is helpful for bicycle tourers.The bathroom was clean and tidy, showers were goodI didn't use the kitchen but at a quick glance it was large, well equipped and clean.Would definitely stay again if ever in Ullapool

Superb hostel with very friendly and accommodating staff. A favourite on my cycling trip around the UK. Comfy dorms with ample space, a nice lounge/kitchen and bike storage, all on the water front, what else could you ask for?

We were perfectly satisfied by this first experience in a youth hostel. The room was clean and comfortable, the shared bathroom, the kitchen and the communal areas were tidy and well organized. The atmosphere was generally pleasant and family friendly. Perfect for a weekend excursion or an overnight stay.
